Chicago's 2nd Airport, Midway is bigger than MMA, just like Houston's 2nd airport, Hobby, is bigger than MMA. I just look at our politicians and elites and say how could they hate themselves too much not to build a befitting airport for their " own" comfort and use?

I think the reason why US airports remain d way they are, is that Americans airports as mere transit points not worthy of luxury.

Just like Schipppol Amsterdam which has a casino, library, museum, hotel, smoke lounge and best shopping duty free in the world. Top to low level workers are multi-lingual.. janitors and bar tenders speak 2-3 languages. BTW, their ATMs pay in £€$. They just want u to come and not leave.
