But to be honest, I don't see any party other than PDP winning Ebonyi in 2015. I kinda know the political circle in Ebonyi state politics and I'm sure of what I'm saying.
We should be happy to have an internationally acknowledged technocrat as our next Governor. I smile for all Ebonyians.

Health Minister, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu was on Tuesday adopted by the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alongside other major stakeholders of the party from the three geo-political zones of Ebonyi State as the consensus governorship candidate of the party ahead of next year’s general election.

Prof. Chukwu’s endorsement followed a closed door stakeholders’ meeting of Ebonyi North and Central senatorial zones convened by the leader of the party, Governor Martin Elechi at the Government House, Abakaliki.

The meeting lasted more than two hours according to a source at the meeting.

The endorsement of the former Chief Medical Director of Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital, laid to rest the speculation of a possible consensus candidate of the party in the 2015 election.
