Obiagelli:

Are you kidding me? Our debts are in dollars, what is the value of 1 million dollars in 1984 and 2014? You think other countries keep their inflation and exchange rate stable for no reason?

What kind of people am i debating self? Yet you call buhari ignorant.

Obiagelli:

Exchange rate is actually one of the key indicies in pushing economic growth, do you have an idea what it means to have stability in exchange rate?

Is that right? So tell me, given what you know about his methods, will the Naira be super cheap, pegged at a certain value or revalued higher like the Ghanaians did? And please for God's make sure you have considered the pros and cons of each approach.

You could just have asked her if she had a crystal ball in her attic or if she has been penned to become the President of CBN or the finance minister in Buhari's cabinet.

Whata loada crap!

That you sit behind your iMac dealing in 'tashere' online trading does not make you a Sanusi abi DG of the Nigerian stock exchange so move over!

I keep seeing epistles upon epistles but when asked to give specific alternatives who are ready to run and capable of delivering sufficient votes to defeat jonaadaft a known failure with his evil rigging machinery, none seems to come up with any. So what's the point?
Abegi, later jor. Hopefully someone somewhere can bring up a potential name we can really really consider.
U can't eat ur cake and still have it. Jonaadaft needs to go but if u want a saint with no blemish or faultless candidate then u are just deceiving ursef about wanting jonaadaft to leave.
For now, considering all our other options the General is our best bet.

I am up for a stronger naira. We derive no value from our devalued currency, i has not even helped increase exports and heck we received payment in dollars for our crude, makes no sense.

No, there is nothing wrong with identifying a problem but when you do it is usually because you know that there is a better way. My question was and is: what is that solution?

And guess what? You haven't got any! I think your contemporary was right somewhat when he said you are F00lish.

You are the one who is f00lish for being insulting. What an a.rse kissing political prostitute you are!

Asking for solutions my nyash! How about:

APC and PDP inviting and nominating fresh leaders with a history of better performance? Aren't Fashola, Soludo, Ribadu, Donald Duke and co other options now? Why must it be GEJ or Buhari? You must be a paid lackey to demand for better alternatives for these 2 losers, an answer which even you know can be resolved in your dumb political parties.

How about Youths and adults making a unilateral decision to boycott votes in 2015 since APC and PDP are adamant about providing us with foolish choices while demanding for alternatives that everyone knows THEY can also provide?

What happened to our younger ones actually going out and forming political parties, nominating fresh faces with a proven track record? Instead of going from forum to forum as paid ewarriors like yourself, using smokescreens to hide the truth about your paymasters by being insulting while asking for so called alternatives to the problem YOU are causing?

Huh?!

That is nonsensical and blatant lie. Buhari is not a good candidate but a bad one who is among those who ruined this country. I don't know why Nigerians cannot fight for their rights at home but claim rights in other countries. Jeez!

Why don't you go and pick a form as an aspirant yourself, there are over 30 political parties in Nigeria today or are you waiting for them to hand you one?

People sit back, do nothing but whining and calling those with an opinion paid hack.

Oh give the heck over!

You choose not to vote, you lose your voice and power to change, hence 'you snooZe; you lose!'

So tell me, braveheart, what is stopping you from forming this pressure group to reject these crops of candidate? What? You're waiting for me to sign up?

People like you are just dregs who form the association of noise makers. All talk and no substance. You criticise without proffering solution and when you poop shiatsu outta your dead cells, you come up with candidates who have defected to other parties thus making them ineligible to contest under the platform you decry of supporting integrity over corruption.

Where is your pressure group? Nowhere? Then scram!!

P:s dem never born any politician wey go pay me to become one of the shameless hacks you see around here. The politician go burn! As for Buhari though, I will work for him without charging a kobo!!

We know it's never about performance, it's about power returning to the north. for you, discipline is flogging a man and passing a 100 years sentence without a fair trial. Giving out 80% of ptf's contract to northerners is no corruption .All these are the trademark of saint buhari. The good news is Nigerians have seen him for who he is: a loser.

I cant respond to hearsay. Where are the facts and records to support your claim? I saw the impact of PTF in d south west, IMO, PTF is the best thing Abacha did right and thanks to Buhari.

We have heard so much from you about how Buhari is unsuitable. We have asked you to name names of better candidates which still is not forthcoming. At least your contemporaries had a brain fart and nominated some candidates who they seemed to have forgotten or better still not informed enough to know that they have ported to the other side. But let's leave that aside in the interim.

So, Tell us a bit about Jonathan.

Is he a better candidate?

@ obiagelli, I am not saying your choice is wrong o but how much will revaluation cost us, for how long would the naira have to propped to match it? My choice would be to let the naira stabilise by itself. Sounds rather cliché but I'd rather let the market decide. Yes, we do not manufacture and are nowhere near being able to do so effectively in the next few years, even when are able to, we possibly can't displace the likes of China, India and Japan; but we have a large population of young people some of who are well educated. We are in a position to benefit tremendously in the services sector if the right policies are in place.

So the fool who led in the eating of a billion naira worth of food in a financial year in the midst of abject poverty isn't a bad candidate.

[color=blue] The naira won't move an inch, in fact it will continue to drop drastically. In actually terms you don't honestly believe the naira is worth 165, its far worse than that.

We can have the naira @ a reasonable price and still manufacture effectively, we have not even covered 10% of our domestic needs, talk less of export.

Asking APC to feature new breed like Fashola, Kwakwanso, El-Rufai while PDP retained GEJ is akin to telling your neighbour to denounce her witchcraft while hiding your witch mother in the bedroom. We are all living witness when PDP unanimously adopted GEJ as their sole candidate despite his gross incompetence and cluelesness.

Your postulation would take time to work in Nigeria, remember some credible Nigerians who contested election in the past such as Late Gani Fawehimi, Pat Utomi failed woefully not because they are not competent and credible, but because in Nigeria's perception they are "Unelectable"
Even the recent consideration by the defunct ACN who featured Nuhu Ribadu in the last election was utterly defeated.

APC needs a heavy weight to defeat the monster who has $20billion, pension fund, subsidy money in her arsenal as as a bullet to shoot at the vulnerable electorate who have been made docile and defenseless by this same power that be

We will begin to take people like you seriously when you condemn PDP adoption of sole candidate and canvass for credible candidates such as Ribadu, NOI, to mount the presidential ring with APC's Fashola, Oshiomole, Rochas and Ameachi

You lot seem to be forgetting about the elephant in the room. That is the fact that we are signatories to all these external treaties which determine what we produce, how much we produce and set our prices through fierce competition. Nigeria does not have the power to set prices for as long as it is part of the WTO, still borrowing from the world bank and IMF. In so long as we have leaders who are all too ready to kowtow to Washington such as this Jonathan administration, we will continue to devolve powers and not have much say about about our purchase power.

This is why I say Buhari is the man! He has put these world oligarchs in their places before and he can do it again!

We can only effect good policies when we have a fearless leader who will look at the western hegemony and tell it to take a hike!

Buhari is that man with the liver to do such!

Seriously, anyone that claims that Jonaadaft is a failure and at the same time feels the General is unsuitable without suggesting realistic names, not even one that can defeat the current failure in aso rock is just being deceptive.
They can only deceive themselves. They are for the drunkard.
Why look for a perfect candidate from an imperfect system?
Why look for a saint from a group of peeps that aren't?
Why look for sheep in the midst of wolves?
The pros and cons of the General has been weighed and he is surely a better person to jonaadaft. The battle will be between both of them. It's either u choose one or stay mute biko.
