clueless people. see how thousands of criminals will be injected into the society. Nigeria always putting the cart before the horse.let them go to rural communities first, fix all the roads, make them motorable before they implement their ban. Then provide good safety-nets for the millions that will be put out of business. 4 Likes |

Why solve a problem and create another in the process?Solve the issue of joblessness and the ban on okada will be a welcomed development. What of places that are not motorable?FG is a huge joke. 1 Like |

The advantages of okada still outweigh the disadvantages. Mobility provided by okada is unparalleled. the keke and bus just won't drop you in front of your room. Since it has been banned from cities, what's the essence of including the rural areas, where roads that can only be plied by okada abound? Again, I hereby commiserate with individuals in the motorcycle parts biz 2 Likes |

They should learn to consider the less privilege and think before acting, have they giving them jobs, they should stop talking like kids and act like responsible adults, the ones talking are the ones not using bikes any more |

neuljosh: they should leave it in the villages. what of other things that make our roads look third world like pot holes, open drainages, no drainages, no side walks, poor sanitation, etc The govt can start with those .Bad roads are the cause of okada accidents 9 Likes |

This is why this govt is so clueless. They stay in Airconditioned offices and take rash decisions. Have they seen the road in most parts of the country? Its so bad to a point that even KEKE can't enter so okada seems to be the only way out. If the ban is in major cities where the road network is good, that's fine but for the rural arears, their policy is a big miss. 3 Likes |

they had better not try this, there are places whose roads will effectively damage your car's suspension and shocks if you drive your car there.so what becomes of the okada riders ? mind you quite number are bsc graduates with no jobs. the crime rate will just sky rocket. |

Another move to show insensitivity on the governments, part. Inasmuch as I dont like okada, but that doesn't mean it should be banned. Its a source of livelihood to millions of people, due to the alarming rate of unemployment. Which way nigeria must we copy every thing the westerners do? 1 Like |

It's not about just banning bikes, they should also provide jobs for the thousands of people not having one so as to make up for the ban. |
