Hello guys,
Please I'm in need of serious help from our tech gurus here

I got an Mi A3 shortly after my RN7 was stolen...
But I'm thoroughly fed up with this Android One O.S

Please how can I unlock my bootloader, flash twrp and finally flash Miui for cc9e on my Mi A3?

How??, what's wrong with the OS??

Two things have stopped me from buying this phone for now.

1. I sent messages to two different sellers, messages are still unread and not responded to, it's been 3 days now. If my enquiry can't be addressed, then I have to look away.
2. No LED notification.

Frankly I'm thinking of moving from Xiaomi to Realme because they've got some amazing phones at very reasonable prices, even way cheaper than Xiaomi phones.
I came across Realme 5 Pro Global version, 8gb/128gb with dedicated SD card storage (256gb), Snapdragon 712, @about 78k on AliExpress. YouTube reviews are excellent, but I want more opinions on this brand and their products.

Lol they even got the specs wrong, it has an IPS LCD screen and not amoled plus it's a sale price meaning the real price is higher than that... The phone has no led notification light, plastic back and from what I heard, color os is crap... There are a lot of compromises on the phone thus justifying it's price, I'd never pick this phone over the redmi note 8 or note 8 pro

According to him, using it over WiFi caused it to lag badly and he had issues with his calls... The phone even started touching after a while

But apart from low brightness I think I may be getting the Infinix S5 soon. Although I'm never ever selling my Sammy.

It should be a great choice especially if you're not a heavy gamer... Which Samsung phone do u use?

exactly, ppl don't even knw d useless exynos 9704 is worse than mtk p22. p22 get smaller semiconductor size and is faster and more power efficient.
yet Samsung dey sell the phone 77k ontop rubbish processor.
if u don't want tecno or infinix, just get xiaomi

This is automatically the best post on this page of the thread, I wonder what makes their phones that expensive really, it can't definitely be camera performance, my moms infinix hot s4 constantly disgraced my dad's a20 before he destroyed it. From the reviews I watched comparing other phones with the mi a3 camera wise, you'll have to go as high as the a70 if u really want to challenge the mi a3... If u check the price of those 2 phones, you'll weep

Wanna get a phone for my friend,but am damn confused between A3 and note 8t because of band 28,
But my major concern is the cost of mi a3 screen,then for note 8t am sceptical because i don't know if xiaomi will abandon(less/slow software support)it like note 6 pro,
And finally the camera,whether the difference in quality is noticeable.

If u don't mind miui I'll advice u to get the note 8, it actually has great cameras and I don't think it'll be abandoned by xiaomi, I've never heard of a note series (not pro versions) being abandoned plus the screen replacement won't be up to 15k (as the shop attendant told me)

I know about the charging port problem, a friend of mine owns one. he doesn't share charger and he's fine.

Yh it's like that for some people but I assure u, he won't use that phone for 1yr+ without experiencing the issue

Exactly, these are the kind of phones that should be getting the hate tecno and infinix are getting, any Samsung midrange phone is a waste of money and my dad is a testament to that, his a20 frustrated him so much that he actually knocked it senseless out of anger one day, 9 hours later I saw him with a brand new huawei y9 prime

I cant get my eyes off the new infinix S5
If I knew nothing about processors theres not anyone could have said to change my mind
But even with my knowledge the processor is still not an issue as far as you are not rooting or overloading it with games

Lol that processor is even enough for most things sef, maybe it's the price that makes xiaomi fans hate them because mi phones offer much more for the same price

Lmaoo his own is a special case, he bought this phone last month but has changed his screen guard 3 times... Some people are naturally very careful and some aren't but it's always good to cut your coat according to your cloth

Since they employed the heavily criticised MTK processors on their device. Its just my opinion tho

Lol it's not as bad as people here are making it seem, it's a really beautiful phone and it will serve u well especially if u don't set your expectations too high
I really don't understand the hate I'm seeing here towards other brands especially tecno and infinix (I totally understand Itel's case)... I've come in contact with the tecno phantom 9 and it's a terrific phone

I showed him the screen replacement cost yesterday and he almost fainted Lol, now he wishes he got the note 8 instead of the mi a3

Sony IMX 586 is better than the Samsung's GM1/GM2 on the Redmi Note 8 no doubt.

Lol no wonder, xiaomi really killed it camera wise with the mi a3... My friend's phone is his department's camera phone lol, and he's not happy about it especially as he's a gamer and he hates people touching his phone

it hasn't failed me, in fact I can trust it better than all other phones have used as it almost always recognise my sweaty palm all the time. something I don't get from others.

Good for you, I guess you're one of the lucky people without the FP issh... Have u updated your phone since u bought it?

Lol haven't u heard of the charging port issue?, that's the only flaw of the phone sha if not it's a killer phone... Nokia 7.2 is stupidly expensive with average specs

I'm not really an amoled fan and the in display finger print to me is just a gimmick tbh... It doesn't even recognize my friend's finger print at times and he has to use his password + it's slower

I don't know again o, my first intention was to get the mi a3 because of the camera, battery, processor, size and most importantly, android one.... but that screen replacement price caught me off guard, if you've ever been in a Unical student shuttle or hostel then you'd understand why I'm so scared of the screen replacement price
