Love can happen anywhere, and the story of this elderly couple is a perfect example. Romance blossomed on a Broadway dance floor when the teacher, a dressmaker, gave a fitter and turner a dancing lesson. The couple married at St Paul's Church, Redfern, on Remembrance Day, 1944, and Bob and Mavis Carveth celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on November 11.
