Fake love does but what's genuine no matter what will always stand the test of time.

The question is; "Is there anything like love in the first place?".

The issue of "love" is one that is so complicated to discuss or talk about.

I know God wants us to love etc but I personally dont believe in it. The only love I believe in is the one God has towards us and the one parents "probably" have towards their children and vice versa.

Love, as we think it to be is not love in the real sense.

Its desire, fondness or likeness towards the opposite sex.
Its a responsibility we have towards eachother to care for and apologize to and show concern with one another.
Its also a commanded love as given by Christ in the Bible.

Humans are incapable of loving in the real sense. If it exists at all then it is between those who have married for a long time in truth and honesty and they have grown to be like brothers and sisters in its purest form.

It baffles when people say they are looking for love. *Smiles* Im sorry, you can only get a guy or a girl with good intentions. period.

So to your question, what we believe to be love does not exist and when we finally realize its not love is when it begins to fade no matter how much we so much "love" someone. What keeps us together at that point is responsibility and familiarity which we have been practising since we actually started dating.

We were not just wise enough to know because the euphoria of that moment made us believe we were in some form of love.
