Are Lagos roads cursed with traffic logjams?
And who'd save Ibadan from these canopies of rusted roofs?

Workers at Enugu Coal mine (1959)

What happened to our coal mines? This should be our main fuel source for power generation in the country, supplemented by natural gas, renewable energy and so on. Quite sad yo!

Kainji Dam under construction. Construction began in 1964 and was completed in 1968.

so this Dam was constructed within 4yrs. and we have projects of lesser magnitude taking forever to finish. There indeed was a country.

Those were the days I used to love watching the super eagles. Even when we lost, they still put up a breathtaking performance unlike the rubbish team we have now.

The Buhari administration identified indiscipline as the bane of the nation's ills and therefore decided to fight it in all its ramifications. Hence the launching of the different phases of War Against Indiscipline (WAI). There were 5 phases of WAI, namely

1- Queuing (March 20, 1984)

2- Work ethic (May 1, 1984)

3- Nationalism & Patriotism (August 21, 1984)

4- Anti- Corruption & Economic sabotage (May 14, 1985)

5- Environmental Sanitation (July 29, 1985)

Aspects of this campaign included public humiliation of civil servants who arrived late to work while guards were armed with whips to ensure orderly queues at bus stops.

I love this picture.
