Why Do We Make Others So Insecure By Constanly Objectifying Them? by Nobody: 8:43am On Dec 02, 2014
Why do people always make others feel like they are not good enough for society? You may not know this but so many people have very low self esteems, irrespective of their looks or possesions, though almost everyone try to hide it. If u notice so many people try to change their skin tones, hair colours, eye colours , etc just so they chould be "perfect" looking but in reality they only just look fake and insecure because its so easy to detect a person trying too hard to hide their insecurities. But on the real, i think attractive persons have it hardest on the insecurity rader, been that they are always "objectified" by everyone. Unattractive people have nothing to prove because no one objectifies them, people literally dont care about what they do by default so they work on their social skills and just go about charming every person they meet and live awesome lives. while attractive people are always treated like nothing but a face and body that is appealing , its almost like people dont see your character they are so quick to move every topic to your looks and soon the attractive persons tend to lose their real selves (personality) and start to rate themselves based on societal views of how they look. Too often they are told that they are "beautiful" and as such they start to do everything to hold on to this "objectification" thinking its the only special thing they posess (since people are not really concerned for their characters anyway) and that if they lose it everyone will suddenly treat them like some irrelevant garbage! Now the question is, why do people objectify attractive people like they are nothing but their looks? For example if u follow the social media u would notice that celebrities like lynxx are only talked about when its time to rate who's the hottest male.....who is more of a eye candy to women....blah blah blah , just go to linda ikeji and search on lynxx...theres nothing more people seem to care about than how hes more of a woman candy than john doe!! Now little wonder if this said celebrity is so shallow and insecure. Tho he may put up a character of confidence to the media because of branding but who knows if he sees himself as nothing but an object to society. All these objectification leads to narcissim and self obsession which is brother to insecurity!! Now why do people make others feel like objects and then rubbish them as being shallow when they start showing off their insecurities?
