If you ever visit Ibadan, make sure you check out this absolutely astonishing garden. Ajimobi really spent money on this.

Many people in Ibadan don't even know this place exist like this, many still think its like d agodi garden of old where they only have grasscutter in their zoo.
Re: Agodi Gardens! by Nobody: 9:52pm On Dec 03, 2014
I think this place can compete favorably with obudu resort minus the natural advantage of the mountain which is also a disadvantage as it makes the resort remote.

its not only him and I wish to remind you that virtually all the states are in mess financially and they hardly get money to pay the workers salary.

Ajimobi is really working...
APC is Working
Re: Agodi Gardens! by biafranqueen: 11:52pm On Dec 03, 2014
I will admit that this Governor is trying. Last November we visit our friends poultry factory not far from here, your could spot the progress.
This type of man should be fielded for APC!
Instead they are pushing party prostitutes, drug barons and warloads.
Now I know where they get that clueless nonsense.
You only give as much credit as you give yourself
Re: Agodi Gardens! by biafranqueen: 11:55pm On Dec 03, 2014
barcanista:You finally admit that someone is REALLY WORKING Because you know the rest of those APC leeches are just sucking blood.
He is working! That is a good refurbishing of the park and a few roads.
APC is broken with salvage title!

no doubt about it ajimobi is winning people's heart he win convincely in Feb 28 2015 governorship election no doubt about it .he has done well kudos to him.
Re: Agodi Gardens! by PaulJohn1: 3:09am On Dec 04, 2014
Quite impressive. I only pass by and admire the huge fountain, I've never thought of taking my time to check in.
Ajimobi is truly changing the face of IB city, but he has relaxed in his strict ways against dirtiness, because of 2015 election. Iwo road is returning to its old dirty ways, with motorists parking under the bridge.
That governor has also tried in attracting investors and investments to the city, at least I know of five new malls in Ib today. Foodco opened their second mall like 3 months ago.

django1, that's premier hotel far away in the pix below, I learnt a new and more luxurious hotel is being built on a hill not far from it. Something "wood" is the name. Got details on that?
Re: Agodi Gardens! by semitunde: 3:19am On Dec 04, 2014
Is it now open?
Tried taking my parents there around July and we were turned back at the gate.
Delpee, MsNas, come see this...
Re: Agodi Gardens! by Nobody: 6:10am On Dec 04, 2014
Thing is, I think they opened for a while and closed again, I'm not sure of their status now.
PaulJohn1:Yeah, that hotel is just by the side na, they've not started the main construction.

Re: Agodi Gardens! by solid3(m): 6:59am On Dec 04, 2014
Nice place. But sorry Oyo people will disappoint you sir.
Re: Agodi Gardens! by D9ty7(m): 7:13am On Dec 04, 2014
The last time I was there, the place looked like some old ancient garden. Though it was fun because there could not have been anything better at the time. All they had was a lion and a lioness, monkeys, various trees, ostritch and what again? I think a tortoise, a land crocodile. That's all and one small gutter like river abi na stream. Yes I remember there are dried leaves on the floor.
But now that our governor had done well be renovating the place, its a good one for the people of Oyo state, most especially Ibadan.
But does that guarantee him a second term like someone said earlier?
Re: Agodi Gardens! by Nobody: 8:43am On Dec 04, 2014
Men!those years it was more of a forest camping than anything else, I remember when we went there from a tutorial class in secondary school, all we had to do for fun was roast yam inside the woods and sing. Its a totally different place now.
