Some fools will still believe in the old useless slogan that "ibadan kii sinyan lemeji"(ibadan people does not serve any leader two times). If a leader deserve more than two time we should give him.Initially I did not believe that this man can do something Tangible in Oyo state but I was surprise to see all his development.Despite the fact that the federal allocation is been short paid he is stil doing better compare to the era of our great Akala who did nothing apart from unrest security in the state.I thought Ladoja is better before but with this development Ajumobi should continue in office for the second time.

Good job. This man is transforming Ibadan. The next governor should build on all his has done. By now Ibadan should be competing with Lagos even though their allocation differs.

Looks very serene I must admit. Never thought a place like this existed. Would definitely check it out next year.

We need more relaxation spots like this. Wish it could be reproduced across all states. Enough of the clubs and hotels and beer parlours.

Nice one.

Well I don't know, he seems to have completely slowed down of recent, dirts are piling up on the roads un removed for days and not much development in education.

Thanks for sharing these pics and your honest assessment of Ajimobi.
Can you confirm if the gardens have now been privatised or still run by government?

The key is maintenance, which is DEPENDENT on having a well motivated workforce. One key element to motivation is workers not only being well paid promptly but also FEELING they are well paid vis-a-vis their efforts.

It can be well!

e-politicians lying since 1999...Pls ds project was not financed by govt its now private project only dt govt privatized it... oyo state governor lying since 2011.

I thought as much.
Privatisation is not bad at all as it makes government receive licencing & tax REVENUE rather than pay subsidies for entities it cannot sustain as everyone feels it is their opportunity to "chop" with wrongly assigned staff based on considerations other than merit.

Its some kind of a partnership, between legacy gardens and the state government.
