Honestly Rabiu Kwankwaso has just shown his midas touch in the act of political governance. The transparency and openness are commendable departure from secrecy often associated with our leadership. This altitude of I do not have anything to hide, it is our goverment, see how we are running things, earns Kwankwaso the right to be consider for the Nation's plum job" Jolly Iguodala This is Kano, not Dubai, an attestation of R. M Kwankwaso (PHD) lofty engineering ideas and frugal/responsible leadership qualities This impeccable 2KM+ legacy is one of the 3 fly over bridges initiated, awarded and constructed by RMK, Unlike 2nd Niger bridge that was only built as a campaign promise, there was no deceitful fanfare groundbreaking ceremony, no kobo was borrowed from any bank on earth and moon for its financing. No SEC backed bond was subscribed for in its funding and no private-public partnership arrangement with provision for toll collection. It was built and funded solely from Kano state treasury for the people to enjoy for free Guess what. Kano state 2014 budget is N219billion, which represent 43.9% of Akwa Ibom N499billion budget. Delta state 2014 budget is in the region of N380+ billion yet both Akwa Ibom and Delta are more exposed to toxic debts than Kano owing to fiscal prudence of the latter leadership. As a matter of fact, Kwankwaso has never borrowed but paying off his predecessor domestic and external debt commitment he inherited in 2011. Just to satisfy your curiosity on the project cost, this beautiful KM+ fly over bridge was built at N10billion. That's 8.8% of an over padded proposed 1.8km 2nd Niger Bridge that will cost tax payers a whooping N117billion A Kwankwaso presidency will not only replicate but accelerate similar 3 fly over bridges across the 36states in his first tenure (2015-19). While his second tenure will consolidate and witness a phase of construction of tunnels and expansion of high speed rails 2015 presidency is not 'it is our turn' trophy, it is not also about the Mettusaleh and sloganeering. It is about quality service. RMK has shown the capacity and ability to deliver the much desired quality services That's the summary Jolly posited above...Continue http://mrrightsng..com/2014/12/this-is-kano-not-dubai.html

OP is a full time Kazami!!
So flyover is now an index of economic development?? Highly populated kano with extreme poverty stricken populace will want us believe rmk is working? Ehh?

How is the real sector doing?
Are industries springing up everywhere like Ogun state??
Tourism and social services nko?
Despite collecting the highest allocation from abuja with 44 LGAs, kano can do more than this with a better govnor

Look at big for nothing Kano that cant generate revenue internally is badmouthing other states that are doing charitable gestures to her.

Look at big for nothing 44 local government kano withe highest number of beggars in nigeria is talking down on others.

If Kano state spent the amount of money other southern states pour into education, healthcare and poverty alleviation into those sectors believe me Kano state will be wiped out from the map of nigeria.

All the schools in kano are FG finaced, everything about the big for nothing state is subsidize and subvention, why wont you have time to throw insults to your donor states when you dont know how to make money but waste it.

And what are the corrupt and incompetent governors in the Delta doing with their Oil money from huge allocations to derivations and NDDC? Nothing but looting and stealing instead of bridges and meaningful infrastructures..

Even Ibori is building his bridge inside London jail after looting the state dry..

Alams looted his state dry without building 1 inch of road or single classroom.

Jonadumb who looked the other way or participated while his boss drained his state also did not build one single classroom..

Oil money doesn't make competent, productive and credible leaders, it's in built and the incompetent looters in the Delta have ZERO in built leadership qualities...

4 pictures are indeed a good reflection of the largest state budget in West Africa...

After 8 years and largest yearly budgets in Nigeria, all you have to show us is 1 flyover, 1 football field, 1 uncompleted hospital and 1 uncompleted tropicana after N33 billion down the drain...

Why do you people like to disgrace and expose that incompetent looter in Akwa Ibom..?

Budgets is what states operate with regardless of IGR.

IGR or no IGR, Akwa Ibom still posts the largest budgets in Nigeria so how come you have to show us is only 1 flyover, 1 football field and 2 uncompleted buildings?

States with smaller budgets have sports complex with all the things your stadium doesn't have like swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball court and so on including many hospitals, many schools that akpabio didn't build..

Please stop boring us with your empty and shallow mediocre rubbish..

Apart from celebrating streets lights, we celebrate uninterrupted power supply to our hospitals, our health centers, our roads and bridges, our public institutions and government buildings with 300km of underground cable to go with it..

The question is, how many hospitals even though Akpabio did not build any, clinics or even any entity in Akwa Ibom or even elsewhere in Nigeria gets uninterrupted power supply?

^^^^ I really need you to answer that question just to show yourself how clueless and irrelevant you sound..
