Happy birthday to a clever business man.

Nigerians pentecost christians speake that other christian religion have idols but he is a man mad God not more, how can a real christian pastor celebrate his birthday like he is a music superstar when so many children in an country in west africa has nothing to eat, whe he cannot tell his followers that they should donate that children have food also in nigeria there are many children who have nothing to eat, and he is celebrating his birthday, where he lose the feelings what it means to be a real christian.

And yet the mumus will keep following him. It really shows that their interest is not in Christ. Chris has hypnotised them no doubt.

Just imagine some blasphemous names used to address this business man called Chris, by his followers :

Father
Mentor
Messiah
Daddy

etc....

I can't in all honesty wish this scammer and charlatan par excellence a happy birthday, the best I can do for him is to pray that he repents from his evil ways.

amen.

In fact the bible says ( notice the bolded words ) ;

"…I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler-- not even to eat with such a one." - 1 Corinthians 5:10-11

or

"…Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds." - 2 John 1:9-11

Despite these warnings, the itching ear, worldly and half-baked believers follow them into the pit......

Happy birthday Pastor Chris, a man sent from God. For your light has blazed greatly and darkness comprehended it not. I rejoice today, because God thought of me when he called and sent you. Congratulations sir.

Dear Nora, I think you should always try to keep yourself week abreast with information before venting out on Nairaland. I seriously didn't want to say anything today even after I saw the Misheal guy seriously displaying uncalled anger. Anyway, back toy reason for commenting.
Left to Pasyor Chris, he wouldn't mind even though his bday isn't celebrated and most times he is taken by surprise at the things that happens at the celebration. His members love him so much and appreciates the way he has affected their lives with the word of God that they decide to celebrate him. I don't see how that is a bad thing.
Speaking of him telling his members to donate for the less privilege, there is an arm of the ministry called "The inner city mission". And the aim of the arm is to reach out to children in inner places of town, slumps, and the likes where they are suffering and aren't even noticed. The lives of these kids and their parents are Changed. There is even a school for them where they attend for free.
Part of the agenda for this bday apart from the inner city mission's normal practice is to reach the less privilege as it has always been done every other year. If you had a loveworld TV station, you would see this gestures.
This is little compared to what the Reach out Nigeria Project does for communities. Apart from distributing rhapsodies, there are many other community projects and skill squishy ion trainings done to commemorate our independence in Nigeria.
Everything has its time. Christ Embassy members feel their pastors should be celebrated and so it is!
Il stop here. Happy Sunday.

Happy birthday to God's Field Marshal. I could get teary-eyed talking about you and how you made me love God and his word. I remember stumbling into a CEC by chance and seeing the members stand up as you walked in to deliver the word. I remember the puzzled look of disgust that masked my face. That look soon phased out the more I listened. You have a unique way of sharing the word. Sometimes the anointing would be so strong that the hairs at the back of my head would be at attention. Other times my heart would burn with fire and an unquenching desire to change my world. The calling on you is not in doubt to anyone that is of the spirit. I remember listening to that message: the one very simple yet powerful, the one worth-hearing, and saying to myself "I know I would never be the same again". And true to it, I changed and am still changing into that very image that Christ wants me to be.

If I was to write about all the things I have gained from being mentored by you, I suppose all the books in the world would not be enough. So let me use this little corner of this thread, to join millions around the world to celebrate you.

Happy birthday sir!

Happy Birthday Great Man of God. It is obvious that you are among the few that have been chosen to bear the light of the glory of God in these last days. Therefore the world are amazed at the grace and awesomeness of God by observing your fellowship with God and His Son Jesus Christ. Life is no longer a mystery to millions around the world because you said yes to God. And may He keep you till the end, still strong and standing tall, with Satan under your feet where he has been, when the Lord appears again in the skies.

Woooow.... But anyway, that serves him right so that before he passes on from ths life, he will know how to pocket his mouth. Anyway, may God forgive him if he apologises to Pst chris here and truly repents frm his evil and sinful way! Thats d only way he can be saved now.
Are taking the piss?
Which God are you referring to here?
Certainly not the one with unconditional love.
Apologize to pastor Chris unto what now?
Even folks who have had no encounter with God are not this bitter and full of curses. Is this really typical of BL members or you are just an outlier?
