As we roll into 2017, I pray for all of you, may your new year turn into your desired dream and may the blessings of God continue to shower on you in 2017 and forever. Amen.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the end of another year and time for us to recount the high points of our work in 2017.

2017 was a very challenging year due to the continuation of the high exchange rates between the Naira and other foreign currencies which of course ensured that most prices of building materials remained high in the markets. This was also a year which the economy appeared to have no direction. But these uncertainties did not deter us from pursuing our set objectives and making a huge success of them.

We started the year with the finish of some of the work we started in 2016, then we started some more work in other sites. We worked in Edo, Abuja, Ebonyi, Anambra and Enugu states in 2017. Our work progressed with pace and accuracy. In all the areas of our operations, we recorded improvements in way we deliver on agreed objectives.

We worked in 11 different building projects in 2017, and the projects we worked on are as follows;
1. A block of 6 flats in Abuja
2. A duplex project in Benin city, Edo state
3. A block of 8 flats of 3 bedrooms in Enugu (1)
4. A block of 8 flats of 2 bedrooms in Enugu
5. The finish of a duplex in Enugu state
6. A 6 bedroom bungalow in Warri, Delta state
7. A block of 10 flats of 2 bedrooms in Onitsha
8. A block of 8 flats of 3 bedrooms in Enugu (2)
9. A new 7 bedroom duplex in Awgu, Enugu state
10. A 6 bedroom duplex in Nkanu, Enugu state
11. Finish of my house in my village in Nkanu
Many of these projects has been completed, some will be carried over into 2018.

We also expanded on the estate development segment of our business. In addition to building an estate office in our Ugwuomu Nike estates, we bought a new expanse of land measuring well over 2 hectares and partitioned it into 36 plots for sale to interested members of the public. Our new estate land is in Akpuoga, Enugu East local government area. We have also sold over 20 of the plots and still selling into the new year.

We added more professionals to our team in 2017, so we could expand on some of our work. The strategy worked as we now have most of our team as in house staff, cooperating and collaborating on different tasks daily.

We look forward to a robust 2018, and we are ready to add many more projects into this year and open one more estate in Awka Anambra state, or its environs. We remain focused on high quality project delivery and transparency in all our dealings with all our clients and customers. Once again, we have come to the end of another wonderful year, a year filled with so many remarkable events in the socio economic climate of the country of our operations. 2018 started with a lot of uncertainty in the direction of the economy, and ended with even more uncertainty as the jobless situation in the country seems to be breeding more insecurity, which in turn bis bad for real estate business.

2018 was a great time in our company operations as we made efforts to audit our company records for the past years, update our company records and pay the necessary taxes in compliance with government regulations. Our corporate profile has been boosted with the appointment of an accounting firm to be looking into our operations with the view to advice on the best policies that can keep the company steadily in the path of progress.

We didn't want to do much in the development of our estates, we want to strategically proceed with caution in this regard, taken that all other estates around us are playing a waiting game with the government to provide the much needed infrastructure like roads and culverts leading to and around our lands at Ugwuomu and Akpuoga Nike both in Enugu East local government area. The lands are appreciating slowly as more development reach the areas the land is located.

Our house construction operations witnessed some modest growth, as we continued to churn out more buildings in many parts of the country. We worked in about 10 building projects, mostly new home buildings. These projects are;

1. The completion of a block of 10 flats of 2 bedrooms in Onitsha
2. The continuation of a block of 8 flats of 3 bedrooms in Achara layout, Enugu
3. The continuation of works on a 6 bedroom duplex in rural Enugu
4. The fencing of a plot of land outside Enugu city
5. The construction till finish level of a 5 bedroom duplex in Akure, Ondo state
6. The fencing of another plot of land in Urban Enugu.
7. The construction of a 4 flats of 3 bedrooms at Emene, Enugu
8. The construction of a twin duplex in Enugu
9. The construction of a 5 bedroom duplex in Anambra state
10. The roofing and house finish of a 6 bedroom bungalow in Nsukka.

Our outlook for 2019 remains positive, we are going to start all our investment partnerships of buy and build for rent, or buy and sell for the profit. This investment partnership is starting this very January, and if I cannot find enough investors, I am going this alone. We will soon release the whole rules guiding the partnership, and move forward thereafter.

We are more poised to develop properties this 2019, both for our company and for our clients in all parts of the country. We pray for economic and political stability, this will ensure a good atmosphere for the profit we plan to reap this year. Thank you all for your support and encouragement.
