I guess you are reading with your eyes close. WHAT KIND OF PROOF DO YOU WANT OOOO. Do you want a scientific proof, logical proof, theological one? What type of proof do you want?

You said you have proof in your previous post. Share it now! Any tangible post would do. Forget the science of God delusion, I don't care for it and you conceded that you did not gave that.

My first argument or proof is the cosmological argument:

1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause.
2. The universe began to exist.
3. Therefore, the universe has a cause
4. That first cause is God

This is mere sophistry or better yet the fallacy of non sequitur. It could also qualify as Devine fallacy. Your assertion can never qualify as evidence under any standard. In fact, it is one of the most lame evidence of God I have heard.

The divine fallacy, or the argument from incredulity, is a species of non sequitur reasoning which goes something like this: I can't figure this out, so a god must have done it. Or, This is amazing; therefore, a god did it. Or, I can't think of any other explanation; therefore, a god did it. Or, this is just too weird; so, a god is behind it.

It is a fallacious argument nonetheless.

Heat and light are forms of energy. Energy causes power - however that doesn't tell me what energy is. What is energy itself - is it something that you can show me? What is the origin or energy?

My argument is very logical and is based on empirical evidence.

1. We all know that nothing can produce nothing - except of course you are suggesting otherwise. It is statement is false, please prove it. It's it true please confirm it
2. Our universe had a beginning & didn't exist eternally: Science holds this view as true. Christians had always held this view. Again if this is false, please falsify it or confirm if it's true

From the above, what is false or incorrect about what I have said?

The stupidity of cosmology just got even worst
Right after the Big Bang, the universe had a monstrous growth-spurt called inflation. The whole thing was over in less than a trillionth of a trillionth of a second, but the universe grew exponentially in that brief blip, repeatedly doubling in size. At the end of inflation, although the universe was still smaller than a car, the outer edge had traveled many times faster than the speed of light. Since then, the universe has continued its expansion, but at a more reasonable, steady pace.

From nothing and explosion we have
Sun
Gases
Flesh
Water
Etc.

Out of matter or nothing...

Then matter gave birth to dark matter
Then anti matter collide with matter
What the F is anti-matter?

Correction. The bible says the earth is round and flat and not a sphere, theres a diffrence.Do not attribute a mans life work with a work of fiction. Give honours when due. The bible also says nothing about the expanding universe.

Get your facts straight, Christianity never put Galileo under house arrest, the Catholics did. Also, the Bible never claimed that the earth was the center of our universe. Please stop stretching the facts as you are mis-representing them

So the creation story of the universe as described in the Bible is irrelevant? Care of offer your version of how we got here?

You seem not to have read the Bible very well. Let me give you examples before you choose only one side. Israel has suffered more for idolatry than any nation in the world. God has dealt with them more than their enemies. God chose to use them to reveal the true God to the world but this privilege carried a great responsibility. So, let us read the accounts:

1. The 1st war the Israelite s fought was a direct assault from the Amalekites. There was a shorter way from Egypt to Canaan, but the Amalekites were there. So God took them through a hazardous wilderness to avoid any confrontation. But while they were resting at Rephidim, the Amalekites suddenly attacked - unprovoked, determined to destroy Israel. Read Exodus 17:8-18
2. Read Moses plea to the King of Edom to pass through his borders and the King refused- Numbers 20:14-20. This account seems to contradict what you said above.
3. Here is another one - Numbers 21:21-24. Israel asked Sihon king of the Amorites for safe passage but he refused and fought Israel.

From the above, I wonder how it tallies with your account. From history; it's either the historical records as described are wrong and you are right or it's right and you are wrong - which is it?
You just pick parts of the scripture to support your view points.Fact is yaweh and his ilk are genocidal maniacs that attack people unprovoked. The guys i pity the most are the people of jericho they were in their own land in their own city yet those genocidal maniacs randomly decide to slay them.I you have read through Kings and various parts of the old testament then you know i am right.

Fallacious argument period! Case closed. What type of empirical evidence are you talking about? You have none. Don't ask me to falsify your false argument, it is already false. Therefore, I can't negate a negative.

By the way I noticed that you try to evade the tough questions by creating your own questions and then answering the questions the way you like. It does not make sense.

My point was Catholics have traditions and practices that are not Biblical i.e. Confession to priest, purgatory. If you show me where it says the earth is the center of the universe in the Bible, then you have a case. So, far - you are mis-representing the Bible.

Another ignorant statement - where in the Bible did it claim that Adam and Eve where Hebrews? grin

Your claim was that from their Exodus; they murdered innocent people. Upon closer look at the details and texts, it stated otherwise. I am not denying that their were wars in the Bible.

Stop playing pretend - the text was clear. If I was a president and someone asked for safe passage - I WILL NOT ATTACK THEM. Man up and admit if you mis-represented the text instead of playing smart.

Try and get some education, most especially on Biblical narratives - you are free to believe in whatever you like, we all are.

You are correct. Yahweh is genocidal. He killed one million Africans (Ethiopians) for no apparent reason. This is the worst extermination recorded in the horrible bible. Yahweh is blood thirsty and loves the sweet smell of blood including that of women and children.

What about the Amelekites? He even said in his horrible book (the bible) that they will never be remembered. However, he asked that their story be recorded and by this recordation, the world got to know and remember them for the atrocity committed against them by Yahweh.

"14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” Exodus 17).

Since Yahweh was omniscient, he should have known that by Moses writing this as a "memorial" he would "not utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” The story of Amelek echoes now crying out for justice! Yahweh must be tried for crimes against humanity. After conviction, he must be incinerated in his own inferno.

"Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’” (1 Sam 15:1‑3). Yahweh is a crazy genocidal maniac with anger management issues.

What was their sin? Nothing! Yahweh punished them for the sins of the Moabites committed like 300 years prior.

Too bad we are not on the dimensions... we are talking about the attributes both has.... when you say circle you are talking about a round object and when you talk about sphere you are talking about round object... get that into your skull

If sphere is round and the bible says the earth is round what's the problem?

When did mathematicians come up with the word sphere to describe 3d circles?
On paper the earth is always 2d therefore a circle... in reality its 3d a sphere which is a 3d circle.

The Amalekite Genocide
Nothing much needs to be said about this one.

You only need to read the first three verses from 1 Samuel 15 to know for sure that the God of the Bible is evil. (Thank goodness he doesn't exist!)

Still, it is good idea to look at the story in context.

(Bible believers often tell us to look at the context. But context nearly always makes Bible stories worse, not better. This story is no exception.)
Samuel also said unto Saul ... Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1 Samuel 15.1-3
Notice that Samuel speaks here for God. Why would anyone believe that then or now? Was it because it sounded like something God would say?

And if the genocide was so important to God, why didn't he tell Saul directly?

But let's assume that the Bible is right and Samuel quoted God correctly. If so, then (unlike many of God's killings) we know why God wanted to Saul to kill all the Amalekites -- because God remembered what their ancestors did hundreds of years before they were born (they defended themselves when the Israelites tried to kill them and take their land).

And Saul pretty much did as God commanded. He sent 210,000 soldiers to kill everyone and everything among the Amalekites: men, women, children, babies, animals -- except for the king, Agag, and some of the more valuable sheep, oxen, and lambs.
Saul gathered the people together … two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah. … And Saul smote the Amalekites ... And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly. 15.4-9
Saul killed the old men, the pregnant women, the children and babies. But he spared the king and some of the more valuable animals, and God would never forgive him for it.

Samuel cried his little eyes out all night and God repented of making Saul king.
Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night. 15.10-11
It's good to know that God repented. When you order someone to commit genocide for stuff that happened centuries ago, you should be a bit sorry about it.

But that wasn't what God was sorry about. God wanted all of the Amalekites to be killed. In some sick way it made God happy every time an old Amalekite woman or a little baby was killed.

No, God repented of making Saul king because he didn't kill everyone, and God wanted everyone killed.
And if you believe in the Bible, you wanted them killed, too.

[If this Bible story is true (which it isn't, of course), how many Amalekites were killed at God's command? I originally gave it the usual 1000 for a standard massacre, but Saul sent 210,000 soldiers to do the killing. He wouldn't send that many soldiers to kill only 1000 civilians, would he? So I increased it to 10,000.]

the amalakites, are they innocent? Did you read the whole story?

The Amalekites attacked the Israelites
without apparent provocation as they
were traveling during the Exodus ( Ex
17:cool. "When you were weary and worn
out, they met you on your journey and
cut off all who were lagging behind" ( Dt
25:17-18). They later attacked Israel
during the time of the Judges (Jdg 3:13)
and often raided the Israelites' land after they had planted crops, leaving them with nothing ( Jdg 6:2-5). God punished the Amalekites by ordering Saul to destroy them ( 1 Sam 15:2-3) - over 300 years after they had first attacked Israel.
During that time, the Amalekites had
contact with the Israelites and would
have heard about God. They could have
repented and changed their ways, but
they continued to raid and plunder other cities up to the time of Saul and David (1 Sam 30:1-3). The Amalekites that Saul and David warred against were clearly no better than their ancestors who had first waylaid Israel.

"It is not for your righteousness or for
the uprightness of your heart that
you are going to possess their land,
but it is because of the wickedness of
these nations that the LORD your God
is driving them out before you, in
order to confirm the oath which the
LORD swore to your fathers, to. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. ( Deuteronomy 9:5) Okay, how "wicked" could those people have been? How about killing their own sons and. daughters by burning them in sacrifices to their gods:

"You shall not behave thus toward the
LORD your God, for every abominable
act which the LORD hates they have
done for their gods; for they even
burn their sons and daughters in the
fire to their gods. ( Deuteronomy
12:31)
The wickedness of these people is
confirmed in other verses of the Bible.

These claims your mad prophets make about viewing all the kingdom of the earth is not possible if it was spherical only if it was round and flat Daniel 4:10-11. In Daniel, the king “saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth… reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth's farthest bounds.” Only with a flat Earth could a tall tree be visible from "the Earth's farthest bounds," — this is impossible on a spherical earth i wont bother explaining or trying to prove why you can't see what is at the centre of the earth from a viewpoint regardless of how high you are. LORD swore to your fathers, to. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. ( Deuteronomy 9:5) Okay, how "wicked" could those people have been? How about killing their own sons and. daughters by burning them in sacrifices to their gods:

"You shall not behave thus toward the
LORD your God, for every abominable
act which the LORD hates they have
done for their gods; for they even
burn their sons and daughters in the
fire to their gods. ( Deuteronomy
12:31)
The wickedness of these people is
confirmed in other verses of the Bible.

so you wipe out a nation because of sins committed 300 years ago. You agree with the principle of killing someone who doesn't bend to your will or worship your sky daddy? I see .....Thats code for bigot .

the amalakites, are they innocent? Did you read the whole story?

The Amalekites attacked the Israelites
without apparent provocation as they
were traveling during the Exodus ( Ex
17:cool. "When you were weary and worn
out, they met you on your journey and
cut off all who were lagging behind" ( Dt
25:17-18). They later attacked Israel
during the time of the Judges (Jdg 3:13)
and often raided the Israelites' land after they had planted crops, leaving them with nothing ( Jdg 6:2-5). God punished the Amalekites by ordering Saul to destroy them ( 1 Sam 15:2-3) - over 300 years after they had first attacked Israel.
During that time, the Amalekites had
contact with the Israelites and would
have heard about God. They could have
repented and changed their ways, but
they continued to raid and plunder other cities up to the time of Saul and David (1 Sam 30:1-3). The Amalekites that Saul and David warred against were clearly no better than their ancestors who had first waylaid Israel.

"It is not for your righteousness or for
the uprightness of your heart that
you are going to possess their land,
but it is because of the wickedness of
these nations that the LORD your God
is driving them out before you, in
order to confirm the oath which the
LORD swore to your fathers, to. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. ( Deuteronomy 9:5) Okay, how "wicked" could those people have been? How about killing their own sons and. daughters by burning them in sacrifices to their gods:

Yahweh is a nincompoop. You can't defend the indefensible. You are an expert in defending things that are pure nonsense anyway .

the amalakites are since been judge but God speared themn until they fill up there measure.

God did not wipe out the nation,The LORD said to Moses, "Write this
on a scroll as something to be
remembered and make sure that
Joshua hears it, because I will
completely blot out the memory of
Amalek from under heaven."
Moses built an altar and called it The
LORD is my Banner. He said, "For
hands were lifted up to the throne of
the LORD. The LORD will be at war
against the Amalekites from
generation to generation." ( Ex
17:14-16) "Blot out the memory of. Amalek" refers to the extinction of the descendents of Amalek. Clearly God was not referring to the world's knowledge that Amalek existed, else he would not have commanded the Amalekites' defeat to be recorded. He wanted the incidents to be remembered, so that future generations would realize that God, not the Israelites, defeated the Amalekites and avenged their unjust treatment of others.
The Amalekites presumably would have
been wiped out by Saul in 1 Samuel 15 if he had followed God's instructions. He
did destroy the city of Amalek, but other
raiding parties/nomadic bands of Amalekites survived. These were
defeated by David in 1 Samuel 30 with
the exception of a few hundred who
escaped ( 30:17). The remnant of the
Amalekites were finally destroyed by the Israelites many years later ( 1 Chr 4:43).
Thus, while God did blot out the memory of Amalek by wiping out his descendents, he was at war with them for many generations.

I don't defend God, I defend the truth, God will defend himself very soon, I assure you bro, mark my word, I Moses say this.

Lets say Adam and eve did not happen, how did you know the big bang happened? What proof do you have? What kind of particles that cause the big bang? How did they collide? How big and small was the space? Where did all the gasses and chemical composition came from? All this you guys cant answer yet you know the universe started from the big bang.

That's a reasonable conclusion by scientists. It all started. We must have a beginning. We can't just sit down here less concerned with our origin. They try to know about it, even though we might never have the full knowledge and understanding of it. Even, new astronomical observations support their theory, too.

The story of Adam and Eve isn't rational enough for a conclusion, not even when studies on DNA give the impossiblity of humans originating from just two individuals. Not even when the creation story itself contains flaws.

Why should you bring up this argument with a very weak point to draw from?

My first argument or proof is the cosmological argument:

1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause.

2. The universe began to exist.
3. Therefore, the universe has a cause
4. That first cause is God

and "whatever begins to exist has a cause" so God has a cause, huh?

if He doesn't then He doesn't exist as "whatever begins to exist [must] have a cause" in other words, "things that don't have a cause don't exist."

and don't tell me God never began to exist, because He's always there. Your Bible says, "in the beginning was the word" so He has a beginning. Even, pastors do call Him "the beginning and end".
