Here I am again. Merry christmas to every Nairalander and most especially, the literature-landers.
Let us in our own little way appreciate that person who has made our stay in the literature section wonderful this year. And I present to you;
THE LITERATURE SECTION PERSON OF THE YEAR
There is no stress involved, just come in here, and vote for that literature-lander, he/she could be a writer or a reader. So far the person is active on the literature section, he is good to go.
Nominate/vote for one person. Voting runs from now till 8pm on the 31st of December, and result would be announced at exactly 11:59pm same day.

I need people who would assist in counting the votes. Vote count starts the moment the first person votes, so all altered or modified votes won't be acknowledged or counted.
Obinnau, I'll be glad if we could get this thread stickied.

NOTICE TO ALL VOTERS
1. The act of spacebooking is prohibited. Anybody who does this would get his posts hidden and banned at the same time.
2. Derailers should beware. Just come in here and vote, do not quote anybody or try to start a conversation here. You can risk it and get yourself banned.
3. E-fights is prohibited. You know the punishment if you are caught.
4. There will be no canvassing for votes and therefore, campaign managers are adviced to take their campaigns elsewhere. You can create a new thread for that.

As far as I'm concerned, the only person who deserves this position is D9ty7; he's such a wonderful person. He has helped a lot of writers achieve recognition.

I suggest u increase the number of people we can nominate.
So many great writers and readers in dis section.

Limiting it to one is unfair.

U can make the maximum 5 or 7. Then the person with the maximum vote wins.

Remember, a writer might be better than the other in a particular genre.
Readers too: some are very good at criticizing while some are better are encouraging!


You can also add more awards. Instead of just 1.

Write down the names of those nominated and use tally system to count their votes!

Yeah. But for me, in crime stories I have someone who is very good likewise I have someone who is also very good in romance stories.

Its not about who I like, its about appreciating them for what they have done without looking biased!
