In this part of the world, its a norm for a married couple to share a room...Most married couples share a room but there are still a good number of couples out there who have separate rooms and their marriages r still intact.
What is your opinion on a married couple having separate rooms?Do you think its right or wrong?

Everything isn't about right or wrong, it's choice and what works for different people. My parents had separate rooms and It worked for them ( 44 years of marriage and still going strong ) but I'll share the same room with my wife

What works for a couple might not work for another couple, my dad is not the very expressive type and my mum is conservative as well and that kind of arrangement will work for their personality types, I on the hand am very expressive and very open so It won't work for me. In the end it is the couple themselves who will work out what works for them

married couples? different rooms? pls for why? someone definitely has something to hide,u can claim u want privacy, privacy what? married couples nothing should be private anymore. I don't see any reason why.

having separate rooms isn't really a bad idea.. it doesn't mean that the couple can't still sleep in a room together...
why couples should have separate rooms could be to have closet space.. its no new thing that ladies tend to have a lot of clothes, shoes, etc.. so it wud be quite difficult to share a room with there husband hu might have also a good number of things too.

another reason is couples fight its inevitable... having separate rooms could give them time to cool off and try and work things out.
