9 qualities of a TRUE BELIEVERS


As u read the following nine qualities, ask
yourself, 'Are these evident in my life today?
Am I developing these fruits so that I may be
entrusted with greater responsibility for the
advancemet of GOD's kingdom?

1) merciful and grace-giving."Blessed are the
merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
" (Matt.5:7)."Judge not, that ye be not judged.
" (Matt.7:1).

2) Reconciliatory."... first be reconciled to thy
brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
" (Matt.5:24).


3)teachable."Therefore whosoever heareth
these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will
liken him unto a wise man...: " (Matt.7:24)


4) courageous.""Fear them not therefore: for
there is nothing covered, that shall not be
revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
" (Matt.10:26).

5)submitted."For whosoever shall do the will
of my Father which is in heaven, the same is
my brother, and sister, and
mother." (Matthew 12:50).

6)surrendered."...If any man will come after
me, let him deny himself, and take up his
cross, and follow me. " (Matt.16:24).


7)repentant."... Verily I say unto you, Except
ye be converted, and become as little
children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom
of heaven. " (Matt.18:3).


humble."Whosoever therefore shall humble
himself as this little child, the same is greatest
in the kingdom of heaven. " (Matt.18:4)."And
whosoever shall exalt himself shall be
abased; and he that shall humble himself shall
be exalted." (Matthew 23:12).

9)servant-minded."But it shall not be so
among you: but whosoever will be great
among you, let him be your minister;
" (Matthew 20:26) If u re willing to make
JESUS LORD of ur life, make His word the first and last
word on all îssues, and seek the fullness of
His spirt, u can live this lifestyle too!!

On one hand I DEVELOP this fruits to be used with my self will vs Christ will make me to achieve this lifestlye Which is which?

The op must be mistaken. I do not know any christian with more than... at most... one or two of these attributes.

But we know that a mango branch does not struggle to bear its fruit, rather it receives sunlight and is attached -sort of like conscious of the tree- which it receives water and nutrients all from the tree. You get my drift.

the name Christian was first used as an identifier by the people of antioch to describe the followers of christ. This people observed the followers of christ and concluded that they are christ-like or christian. It is an abnormally for someone to be a christian and still remain unforgiving, selfish, proud and the likes. In that case, the person has not surrendered his life to God.
