Interesting thread.

Peharps its my husband that should be telling this story, but i would attempt to join his side and my side.

He recently moved into my area and told his friends while moving that he was going to find his wife in this area, that year.

He saw me one day walking down the street, i noticed his clean fine look but didnt really give him any thought.

He later said his attraction was my legs.....

He cornered me a few days later and told me he wanted me to be his wife, i replied just like that, you dont even know me, that infact i was engaged( i had a boyfriend and we were making plans..or rather i was making plans), he looked at my ringless fingers and laughed out loud, that even the ones with ring are not sure talkless or me without a ring. That struck home.

Then i found out he was from a different tribe..i totally logged off.

But that guy chased me eh...I have never seen such tireless zeal and tenacity. He used every trick in the book(yeah he later showed me the book, it has a lofty place on our bookshelf today - art of seduction(rob greene ). The final trick that worked was the impression he gave me that all the girls in town wanted him, that guy sef, many tricks, well hes so good looking, well packaged, very funny and intelligent that that line of seduction worked.

I unbelievably married someone not from my tribe(people who know me personally would understand why it was a massive deal) and three children later(baby 4 on the way), i have absolutely no regrets. I would rather be with no one else. My top notch correct bobo.

I read through the thread from the beginning to this page and it is an interesting reading.
My story: I visited my cousin in her school and we went to fellowship together. After fellowship she introduced me to this good and gentle looking student pastor, who later visited us at d hostel and made his intention known. Pastor or student pastor was a no no for me. I was in a long distance r/ship then.

Fast forward to 4yrs later we were both working, my cousin told me that he has been disturbing her for my number, I've ended the long distance r/ship but have so many suitors to d point of been confused. I jokingly told her to give him d number and he will be an addition to d list.

But he came, clear my doubts, took me with all my faults and make a wife and mother out of me.

A pretty good love story. Your husband saw what he wanted, and he dedicated his all to ensuring he got what he saw and needed.

A very big lesson. Tenacity breaks resistance.

I pray your home continue to experience more of God's peace, increase and love.....

I met my husband in funny circumstances.

I had this Jalopy that I used to call car from he'll. It was a manual Honda Hala and men that car gave me issues.

One faithful day I was driving merrily and low and behold the brake failed and before I could say jack robinson the car rolled down and slope and ran into a brand new toyota parked in front of a house.

The first though that crossed my mind is if them sell me sell this car I can't afford the light of the toyota. The owner angrily came out of the car and I timidly came out of the car and when I saw the very tall angry man omo I burst into tears.

He took one look at me looked at me a second time and ended up fixing my car and his and he also fixed my heart

He is the next best thing since sliced bread and guess what I still have my car from hell.

He bought me a better one but I can never sell that my Hala grin

ma'am HFOG

I hope me story doesn't bore you. He noticed me first some two years before I knew he existed. We finished from the same school. I was two years ahead even though he's much older than me (more than a decade). I noticed him in my final year. He was the fellowship's president. The Lord gave me an assignment which was against the fellowship's procedures. I tried to excuse myself and to prove my point I eagerly went to meet my lord for permission not to do what the Lord was asking me to do. Suprising, he said I should feel free and do it. That was the first time I took note of him. Second time, I had a baby in school (fresher). She had access to all my things and we were very close. Suddenly she began to keep malice with me. I think we had an issue or so. I pleaded and pleaded with her to no avail. Others did on my behalf too but she didn't yield. Then the Lord told me to tell my lord which I hesistantly did. Like film my baby changed. I do not know to date what they discussed. But that incidence struck me. Third occasion - I was struggling with the Lord in my room over watching a movie as opposed to reading. I kept lingering till my lord sent me an SMS on obedience not knowing what I was doing. Immediately I dropped the movie and read. The final one - I had a number of suitors and I was particularly attached to more than one. I'd turned down some but my home church get plenty procedures for marriage. Me lord wasn't one of me suitors. I grew restless one evening because one of the suitors was to call for my response and I wasn't decided. In the midst of my restlessness me lord sent an SMS pleading with me to tell him why I was bothered. That was it for me. I felt irritated like someone was spying on me and crossing his boundaries. I mean all these incidences within a semester. I could hardly call them coincidences. We weren't close yet he knew all about my walk with the Lord. Inasmuch as I didn't want to own up that something was coming up I couldn't deny it either. I graduated and few months later during my service he proposed. The way he did the proposal thing so irritated me I just told him to go and learn how to make a proposal. We didn't speak for the next 9months or so. Not a word, flash, text, mail. Nothing. We went our separate ways believing we were not meant to be together. He's very shy/reserved while I'm very outspoken and can do some unnecessary shakara. Somehow during that break I gave other suitors space but it just didn't work. My lord and I got back together and I've been having the time of my life with a man that is so UNLIKE me.

Bro, indeed the stories are beautiful. This is my best thread EVER. Whatever reminds me of how I met and eventually married my wife, is so dear and precious to me, just like she is precious.

Love is a beautiful thing. It's a privilege to love; it's a bigger privilege to be loved.

He go hear. When me read yours I felt so reluctant to say a word. I liked your contribution and sighed that mine wasn't half as romantic. It was way too spiritual. I mean few days ago I mentioned that to the Lord (my online journal) that my lord was so not romantic. But what I say? He gave me what I needed...tks for reading and enjoying.
