Talked me into getting a library card and would ask me if I went to the library each time I came back from school...we really became so close, attended morning mass and other church gatherings together (catholics will understand), I could borrow anything from him including beverages, food stuffs etc likewise him. whenever he had food, I wouldn't bother cooking but would simply eat from his, likewise him. he would flash me in the night to get up and read, we sometimes did night calls just to keep sleep off our eyes..During exams, whoever didn't have an exam for that day did the cooking... I met my spouse in 2011. At the time, I had just gotten my B.S. and was in graduate school. As a "reward" for myself, I bought my dream car (at the time). Everywhere I went, I got a lot of attention for this car, especially from men (I am a woman). One day, I was at the gas station filling up, and a guy said something about my car. I blew him off like "yeah, take a number". The gas station was close to my best friend's house.

The very next day, my best friend and I were at a nearby apartment building to visit her friend (in the area) and I saw the same guy! Again he spoke to me. We went for a ride in my car. He commented on a bible in my backseat. He said he really liked that. The rest is history! We have been together ever since.

Yes, I know this story is weird. A girl, with a cool car, who takes a guy for a ride. I'm from the US though, where people do ridiculously weird things, for no apparent reason, everyday.

I met my husband on social media 4years ago He sent a text to my inbox but ignored him. After few days I decided to reply his messages . We exchanged bbm contact and we became friends. At that point I knew nothing was going to happen between us because he lives in UK and I do not want a long distance relationship
After few months of chatting, he told me he was coming back home finally . He already registered for service and he would like to settle in Nigeria. I was so glad. He came to Naija but didn't spend up to 2 months when he told me he was tired of Nigeria and he got an fantastic job offer abroad which was a very good opportunity.
for him. We decided to go our separate ways because we knew it wasn't going work.. The distance and the time difference will not help and we barely know eachoda. We decided to be friends and always keep in touch.
After a year, I went for my masters in UK. He knew all my plans and he came visiting. We got talking again and he told me of his plans to come back to UK to finally. He is tired of living abroad. 3 months to his arrival to Uk, He told me of his change of plans. He has has always wanted to work in a particular country and would love to explore the country for 6 months. I know he is a kind of person that loves travellin and I don't want him to regret not trying. But he promised if he doesn't get anything within 2 weeks he is done travelling.
He came back after 2 weeks as promised and we got to know eachoda very well. I finished my masters and I told him I was going back to Nigeria. He said 'I will never allow you to back to Nigeria , I can't bear the thought of losing you again' we got married a year after.
It wasn't a smooth journey at all. I believe that the 1and half year of staying in the same city made a lot of difference in the relationship because we got to know eachoda well. I am always grateful to God that I made the decision of doing my masters abroad because it brought close to my destined husband.

I hope me story doesn't bore you. He noticed me first some two years before I knew he existed. We finished from the same school. I was two years ahead even though he's much older than me (more than a decade). I noticed him in my final year. He was the fellowship's president. The Lord gave me an assignment which was against the fellowship's procedures. I tried to excuse myself and to prove my point I eagerly went to meet my lord for permission not to do what the Lord was asking me to do. Suprising, he said I should feel free and do it. That was the first time I took note of him. Second time, I had a baby in school (fresher). She had access to all my things and we were very close. Suddenly she began to keep malice with me. I think we had an issue or so. I pleaded and pleaded with her to no avail. Others did on my behalf too but she didn't yield. Then the Lord told me to tell my lord which I hesistantly did. Like film my baby changed. I do not know to date what they discussed. But that incidence struck me. Third occasion - I was struggling with the Lord in my room over watching a movie as opposed to reading. I kept lingering till my lord sent me an SMS on obedience not knowing what I was doing. Immediately I dropped the movie and read. The final one - I had a number of suitors and I was particularly attached to more than one. I'd turned down some but my home church get plenty procedures for marriage. Me lord wasn't one of me suitors. I grew restless one evening because one of the suitors was to call for my response and I wasn't decided. In the midst of my restlessness me lord sent an SMS pleading with me to tell him why I was bothered. That was it for me. I felt irritated like someone was spying on me and crossing his boundaries. I mean all these incidences within a semester. I could hardly call them coincidences. We weren't close yet he knew all about my walk with the Lord. Inasmuch as I didn't want to own up that something was coming up I couldn't deny it either. I graduated and few months later during my service he proposed. The way he did the proposal thing so irritated me I just told him to go and learn how to make a proposal. We didn't speak for the next 9months or so. Not a word, flash, text, mail. Nothing. We went our separate ways believing we were not meant to be together. He's very shy/reserved while I'm very outspoken and can do some unnecessary shakara. Somehow during that break I gave other suitors space but it just didn't work. My lord and I got back together and I've been having the time of my life with a man that is so UNLIKE me.
choi diz ur the "lord" too mch o.. Started finking u were a deeper life member.

Spam bot made me late for this party. EfemenaXY carefreewannabe I now understand the tiptoeing you guys where doing with the language thing, I jumped in with both feet and got myself a ban. Anyways here goes.

A female friend called me up to assist her in house hunting. She told me someone else would be joining us if I don't mind and I said it was okay. At the place we went to see I met this friend of my friend. Polite greetings and that was all, no spark not even her beauty struck me but as we were driving to drop her off she said something that made me do a double take and look at her in the rear view mirror to make sure it was actually her speaking, LoL. She said a man had offered her a job, house and car in exchange for becoming the man's "pet". She said she dammed the man and said a big NO. This is in Abuja and this "poor" beautiful girl is turning down such a juicy offer? OMG I knew I had to find out if she was for real or not.

After we drop her off I told my friend, "give me this your friend na" and she said she'll find out if it was OK to give me her phone number. A couple of days later she sends it to me and tells me to give this unbelievable babe a call. The call lead to a friendship through which I discovered that the babe was for real. I then prayed to God that I have found o! You said he that findeth a wife has found a good thing and obtains favour of the Lord, Lord show me if this choice is good. The Lord showed me and our relationship was tested through 4 years of courtship, during which I lost my job and found it very difficult to even by gas for my car. We stuck together through thick and thin, I was blessed with another job and another car to God's glory. We used to joke that people seeing us now won't understand why I open the car door for her thinking all sorts of wrong things, LoL. We are married now and I still wake up everyday knowing that indeed the Lord has favoured me. wink grin

Dude is still hurting. It will heal.

U know 2sexy?
Last year he was so down and always talk about a gal that broke his heart so much people started rebuking him.
Now I don't think he hardly talks about that again.
So it's time. Time heals.
grin I have since moved on with my life bro. We settled everything last year since 2009. She has been pleading since 2012. she said she is afraid I will harm her. grin and that she doesn't even know if it's cos of what did to me that has been hindering her progress in life. This was last year. Though I had forgiven her but my spirit was still angry . But that anger diffused when she started complaining that I want harm her. I didn't like that feeling. I think that was when I had to let go.

I literally made her feel that way. It's what greed and selfishness cost her. I planted that figment in her subconscious mind.

I am grateful for what God has done so far in my life... And where she is anyway...

It wasn't easy but I thank God for everything.

Some weeks ago she was lamenting on facebook over the same crime she committed. Karma is a biiitch.

The pain and anger was much cos I couldn't revenge plus the fact that I lost a dear soul when she played her mischievous game.

I have stopped talking about it when it became obvious that people were taking notes of my post. Naturally I don't like too many eyes on me but I guess the biitch made me popular lol.

190 had to arrange a meeting so as to help me let go... Slimyem and idowuogbo also scolded me... Chidyhels was always on my case cos of it.... grin thanks to you all.

Life is beautiful when you turn adversity into motivation for existence.
