Hello beautiful people, I have come back as our tradition here to share your timelines and supporting documents to help others. I collected our passports with visas yesterday and below is the timeline.
October 14th Biometrics and Submission via paper route
November 13th BVL email dropped
November 22nd passport pick up mail
The whole process took 40 days in my own case.

Documents submitted
Previous travel history to London, U.S, Ghana and Dubai
Business registration documents
Tax card
Business card
Marriage certificate
Kids birth certificates
Kids school receipts and results
Documents of our house and other properties
Particulars of our vehicles
Flight itinerary to Canada
Hotel reservation
Tourist packages of places to visit (paid)
Bank statements for 6 months
Previous flight itinerary to the countries visited
Previous hotel invoices for countries visited
I couldn't submit pictures because they don't allow this in paper applications
Introduction and leave letters.

Hello pls am new here and my agent apply for visitors Canadian visa for me and I did biometrics on Oct 31 and I was told to drop my passport or that day after a week I was called from the vfs to send some documents as well wish I did and told me once it’s delivered but I never hear any update from them till now

Our CIC account (hubby and I) was updated yesterday, 19th November. Approved.

Counterfoil document number now available on the portal.

The visa expires one day before expiration of our passports.

Mine is valid till 2029!!! Whoop whoop! TEN YEARS baby, lol.

Hubby is till 2023!

Yes this is true especially Nigerians very difficult to obtain visiting visa unless you have strong travel history like USA Australia....Which is very bad 99% who got he /her visa have been to USA befor but Why

No travel history, IT- conference. The conference took place two weeks before my application was processed.


I hope i can get a UK visa to boost travel history.

Actually not sure if you not having a travel history was the only problem here, the VO have highlighted that you were not truthful and that should be your utmost concern. So in your next application focus on filling out your forms correctly, Cos this could attract a ban!
