The Richest Nigerian musicians and their net worth is something everyone talks about nowadays. Nigerian artistes are truly smiling to the bank with a lot of endorsements deals and rich companies clamoring for their signature. Don Jazzy and D’prince have been unveiled as new MTN ambassadors while Burna Boy has been unveiled as the lastest Globacom telecommunication Ambassador. I must say it is a big achievement for Burna Boy seeing he is quite fresh to the Nigerian music scene. Some will say money is not everything, but it is hard to denial that money is powerful. The reason we all go to work is so we can at least make some money – I mean some serious money. Nigerian artiste 9ice once said in street credibility ‘’Omo na turn by turn, pray papa God make e reach your turn’’.

As a follow up of the article we wrote some months ago about the Richest musicians in Nigerian. Here is an update of the summary of the richest Nigerian musicians and their net worth. This time we have added a few new names to make the survey as broad as possible.
PSquare is certainly up there as one of Nigeria’s richest musicians. There is absolutely no stopping them. Micheal Jackson’s brother- Jermaine Jackson- recently paid respect to Psquare calling them a versatile group. In January 2013, Psquare purchased a Multi-Million naira home in the US , in the city of San Francisco. The house is estimated to be worth over N434 million Naira. (N434, 000,000)

The bulk of Psquare’s earnings comes from concerts, especially in Africa. The duo has sold above 14 million copies of their CDs since 2005. They won the KORA award for Best Africa Artiste in 2010 and the award came with mouth-watering $1m (N150m). Shortly after, the duo got an endorsement deal with Globacom telecommunications worth about N240m for four years. The group owns Rayfield Hotel in Jos, and two multi-million naira factories in the same city, where they built a multimillion naira bakery and sachet water companies for their dad and mum, among other investments. They are said to charge over N3m per show.

P-Square has two Sequioa Sports Utility Vans (SUVs), one hummer SUV, truck bus, Toyota Altima among other automobiles. In December 2011 the duo were signed to Akon Konvict music in a multi-million Naira deal. Psquare also has landed properties in Jos, Port Harcourt and a N400 million naira house in Lagos.. There is no doubt that the psqaure are in the millionaires club. In 2012 the duo bought an airbus private Jet.

The same old story. OP, even Kylie Jenner who is RICHER than any entertainer in Nigeria has a networth of $2 - $3 million... (according to world renowned Forbes) tell me how Dbanj or P Square is worth N400 million. Once these guys just posted something online, some bloggers would just start ranting -- "400 million, One BILLION etc". I even heard baby Genevieve has a $4 million house in Ghana... courtesy bloggers. The question is >> why can't these celebs themselves tell you or anyone who's interested how much their stuff are. At least Forbes would investigate and tell us their true financial standing, not just some blogger or OP releasing old crap and OVER HYPING that's not even there.
