The Bible says it is better to sever a sinning hand than the whole body be plunged into he'll fire! methinks he did the right thing, the Christian way using the author's sighted examples as the yard stick.

Man, according to Aristotle, is a political animal. So, forgive my curiosity what exactly is your point.
N.B: I am not sympathetic to any party nor politician.

You endorse an article happily yet celebrate a character taken to tatters in it? Go back and read the article with soulful brain again. Let me help you. The writer is saying OBJ cannot divorce himself from the shame and ignominy GEJ and PDP has brought to Nigeria in any way. Now you have a clue go back and read it again.

It is a shame for PDP to loose a political figure head like Obasanjo.
This shows that there is a serious issue in PDP and the only way is to make amend.
PDP should go to their drawing board and look in depth what is happening to them.
Many people are not happy with the party.
That is it.

Nice write up OP! OBJ is public stunting, we are seated watching as the drama unfold. OBJ is the head of corruption so pot should NEVR call kettle black. I am not surprised at his action. OBJ wrote a heated and controversial letter to his once beloved daughter (Senator Iyabo), then had serious public fight with his son whom OBJ was accused of sleeping with his wife and lately he wrote a letter to the GEJ all to discredit them. This is display of SHAME. Is OBJ reasoning faculty aging so fast that he is beginning to act like a kid? Why tore up your PDP membership card through a proxy? This is cowardice!

OBJ can be likened to an expired drug whose potency is currently nonexistent.

On the other hand, am I the only one noticing that the sai Buhari mantra is going down on all social media. The likes on their posts have diminished.

I guess their contracts expired on valentines day and have not been renewed.

Writer's analogy is dead wrong. If every Igbo, Nigerian, African or Black still adhered to their traditional way of life then he would have had a point. That a vast majority of these people have abandoned their heritage, thinking it was for the best , then he cannot begrudge Obasanjo rejecting PDP.
All those in support of the writer, and are Christians or Muslims, are hypocrites.
