Finished reading an American Classic, The Catcher in the Rye. I had to force myself to finish that book, it was a total snoozefest. Wonder what the hype was all about. Immediately deleted it from my phone when I was through.
Memoirs of a Geisha was really entertaining. Enjoyed it.

Saw the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" about 7 years ago..really cool..haven't had the opportunity to come across the novel.

Please can you post the link here? I have read only one of Adichie's works - Purple Hibiscus - and would like to read other books authored by her. Have visited most of the bookshops in my area to purchase hard copies, but surprisingly, none has any of Chimamanda's books so I'm left but to settle for soft copies. Helping me out on this will really go a long way.
It will ease the stress and keep me occupied for the while after having to ransack the internet without positive results.

A time to kill by John Grisham will appeal more to lawyers and those that loves crime best sellers....
@kunmi how I dread shakespeare. I read twelfth night and was like 'what the hell is this man talking about'!. Maybe cos of his usage of ancient English. Took a literature student to explain to me. I see him as the Nigerian Soyinka. They are complicated writers.
#fortheloveofbooks am a fan of John Grisham too,I have read a time to kill and some others.

I recommend "Conspiracy of Lagos" thriller by Bisi Daniels.
Ace filmmaker Kunle Afolayan may adapt it for a movie.
