What manner of change: It's true that change is constant otherwise a toddler would have remained a toddler for ever. As a nation, Nigeria also need a change but it's a pity, the kind of change being advocated is just a momentary and personality change that will surely lead us to nowhere. what we need is not just personality change but institutional and structural change. Nigeria leadership system create much room for corruption that no one could eradicate A situation where people that made PDP the bad party it is today, decamped to APC and were given ticket to run for their desired political post is nothing but a sham. Going through the list of the governorship candidates of APC, one will discover that 20 of the 36 states governorship candidates are decampees from the acclaimed "Evil party" (the PDP) If eventually they are voted for, what could they do differently that will make their mouthed change a reality? It's quite sure that if Buhari become President, the likes of Bukola Saraki will be made Minister. What different will he make, going by his antecedents of being bankrupt We need to wake up from our slumber so that our case would not be like that of a man that he's running from an Oro deity but ended up at the same Oro shrine. If there must be a change, it must be a good change. 3 Likes 1 Share |

jayte054: Same way Jonathan cannot change his failures, incompetence and cluelessness. Buhari's past is a plus and not a minus. Strong character, unyielding under pressure, not greedy, the Masses General, Deciplined, etc. We don't want any of that to be lost. But for Jonathan, Nigerians are tired of all the stealing going on, anti-people policies, massive unemployment, insufficient electricity, high inflation, high poverty rate, etc. We want Change. Sai Buhari. |
