What manner of change:
It's true that change is constant otherwise a toddler would have remained a toddler for ever. As a nation, Nigeria also need a change but it's a pity, the kind of change being advocated is just a momentary and personality change that will surely lead us to nowhere. what we need is not just personality change but institutional and structural change. Nigeria leadership system create much room for corruption that no one could eradicate A situation where people that made PDP the bad party it is today, decamped to APC and were given ticket to run for their desired political post is nothing but a sham. Going through the list of the governorship candidates of APC, one will discover that 20 of the 36 states governorship candidates are decampees from the acclaimed "Evil party" (the PDP) If eventually they are voted for, what could they do differently that will make their mouthed change a reality?
It's quite sure that if Buhari become President, the likes of Bukola Saraki will be made Minister. What different will he make, going by his antecedents of being bankrupt We need to wake up from our slumber so that our case would not be like that of a man that he's running from an Oro deity but ended up at the same Oro shrine. If there must be a change, it must be a good change.

In Buhari's New Year message, he outlined some of the hightlights of what #Change means in this 2015 election.

Change means:

1. A country that you can be proud of at anytime and anywhere: where corruption is punished, where your leaders are disciplined and lead with vision and clarity; where the stories that emerge to the world from us are full of hope and progress.

2. A Nigeria in which neither yourselves, nor your parents, families or friends will have to fear for your safety, or for theirs.

3. A Nigeria where citizens get the basics that any country should provide: infrastructure that works, healthcare that is affordable, even free; respect for the environment and sustainable development, education that is competitive and outcome-oriented in a knowledge-economy.

4. A country that provides jobs for its young people, reducing unemployment to the lowest of single digits and providing safety nets so that no one is left behind.

5. A Nigeria where entrepreneurship thrives, enterprise flourishes and the government gets out of your way so that you can create value, build the economy and aggressively expand wealth.

Are these things truly possible? Of course. That is the essence and outcome of leadership, and that is what my party and I promise you as we get into 2015.

I see a New Nigeria under a Great Leadership.

Same way Jonathan cannot change his failures, incompetence and cluelessness.

Buhari's past is a plus and not a minus. Strong character, unyielding under pressure, not greedy, the Masses General, Deciplined, etc. We don't want any of that to be lost.

But for Jonathan, Nigerians are tired of all the stealing going on, anti-people policies, massive unemployment, insufficient electricity, high inflation, high poverty rate, etc.

We want Change. Sai Buhari.
