Hello everyone, Please how long does it take to open the Stanbic account and get the master card operational. I really need to make a transaction before next Wednesday, 22nd July - BECAUSE of CBN's MPC meeting and they MAY decide to officially devalue the Naira further. Any other advice is welcome! Thanks in advance |

Those with Access bank should confirm N163 rate very well to be sure their system is not malfunctioning though there is a way of getting that rate from Access bank |

I thought I saved almost 15k, from my last transaction due to the unbelievable dollar exchange rate from access bank, the celebration is cut short and shouldn't have been in the first place, there was a rude awakening for me this morning when I got a debit alert from access bank, transaction difference from blah blah blah, and just like magic the #15k was removed, Now it stands at 214.99999 to $1 after recalculation, so this put to rest, there's really no method of getting the #163 exchange, my guess is, it was a system anomaly/glitch that period and they found out fast enough thanks to the publicity that was generated. so that's it, let me see if I can still sleep after this kind of alert woke me up 3 Likes |

Jeffy1206: Mizzzbeee: Lol. I'm telling you. I will buy car sef! They don't know Nigerian Banking Basics. If Bank call me ask me how far? I'll say mhen! I don't have any money again. My money has finished. Take me to court. It's ur mistake. Afterall the time dey took the other lady's money, was it Mizzzbeee or Mavinc4u? Did they pay her back without a fight. In the end they said it was in the 'Spirit of customer satisfaction'. No oh! It's in the ghost of girlfriends past! See! These guys don't care about ur feelings oh! Maybe it was even someone dat wanted to Manifest with the evil spirit in him and change it to 263 naira even for 30 minutes so he will lick some money. God now caught them and he wrote 1 instead of 2. Nigerian Banking A.K.A No feelings involved. 1 Like |

I knew a lot of people will say why did i leave money in the account, but truth is either way the money will still be removed from the account unless you dont plan to use that account again, bankers on this forum will know what i am talking about, they will peg your account with ( i cant remember the term again) what it does is, as soon as any form of money gets into the account , it will automatically deduct it , any day any time, its simple technology. if it was the other way round , we would cry foul and bombard their customer care section and demand our money be returned, what makes you think they wouldnt do the same ? if the mistake was done on the counter, the cashier would be made to pay, because the books will not balance, its left for the cashier to trace the account holder and get his/her money back, either way. it was too good to be real, my initial thought was the reduced exchange rate for the pilgrimage that the federal goverment talked about, so i just thought maybe it affected online purchase as well. all the same..................Lesson learnt 1 Like |
