This admission process is not well organized, and this is not good for the image of the University of Ibadan. I think applicants are not being treated faily in terms of dissemination of information. The whole admission and selection process should have been handled by the PG School and not individual department doing what they like. This can hardly happen in an ideal institution. I was at the School last week to find out about MBA list only to be tossed around from Economics department to The Business School and PG School. At the end of the day, none of them could provide a concrete information. I can only rely on rumors that the MBA program has been ceded to the newly created Business School that is still battling with accreditation from NUC. I was told that the school may be forced to refund the application fees of MBA applicants or defer their admission till next year as the School cannot risk NUC sanction by going ahead with an unaccredited program. Up till now, the School management have not deemed it necessary to officially inform applicants about the status of their admission. I don't know the criteria used to place the school as number 1 in Nigeria sef. Mtcwww

don't know how valid my info is but I think human nutrition shud be a dept under Public health. faculty of public health is in d UI college hospital. goto UCH, u might see it there. but meanwhile, I might just be wrong.. all d best
