This could be true though. A serving soldier once told us that their instruction from above in the past 6 years was to defend against boko haram, never to attack. It is with the involvement of other countries now that boko haram is seeing problems because the soldiers are no longer under the control of the Nigerian government.

Don't forget that the oyinbos are sophisticated people. Am sure the gas was to TEMPORARILY kill every living thing for, maybe some hours to enable the US military go in there and do the needful. Just thinking.

The fact is that the Bokoharamised Northerners make up more than 50 percent of our Army,strongly facilitated by this ACQUIRED UNITY DEFICIENCY SYNDROME of Nigeria known as ''FEDERAL CHARACTER". If enrollment into the army cannot be based on merit and motivation and selection of Troops to fight against insurgents(such a sensitive issue)must Obey federal character, what else do you expect? If you are selected among the pilots to shell ur village or among the infantry men to start shooting ur townsmen, what do you expect? Nigeria is a country of many nations. This marriage has even surpassed all predictions, let's just keep postponing the imminent divorce.
