The courts are on their own on this one! Whether apc likes it or not, soldiers will be deployed for the election. Every nook and crane in Lagos! Tinubus latest rigging technology has just hit an iceberg. Soldiers will overun the entire north to forestall any br
eak down of law and order by booharis killer squad, anything short of this will be a dishonor to the souls of the 10 corpers who Buhari ordered their killings in. 2011.

Yes I love the verdict. People's votes must count. Nigerians need the judiciary this time around than anything. We must decide our fates with our PVC. No to intimidation, this election will open the eyes of our rulers that power belong to the people. The day is fast approaching.
But people's votes counted in Ekiti, Osun and Anambra states elections and soldiers were deployed. Even with the #Ekitigate tape, we didn't hear that Ekiti voters were intimidated by the army. Deploying army to polling booths IMO will make the thugs(who on their own are not afraid of police n civil defence) to 'act less' but the judge knows better

Nigeria constitution is clear on elections.
Armies are trained to protect the territorial integrity of this country
and not for election. PDP had their way in EKITI because Army was involved.
Then why must a right thinking man, asking for free and fair election think of army as an option.
Their training, approach is never civil and that is why I commend the court for this action.
Whoever wins, let him win, but must be free and fair.

Waste of time and money by tinubu. I ve not seen any Soldier at polling unit b4. They only patrol d street and stay at some junctions. Gej has the final say he is C n C. Apc wil stil loose.

Re: Court Bars Soldiers From Polling Stations by ogene007: 12:44pm On Mar 23, 2015
This is mere academic exercise because soldiers have already been deployed to provide perimeter security as part of the over rap security for the elections. It is public knowledge that the use of violence and intimidation is central to the rigging strategies deployed by the APC, especially in the north and other APC controlled states, to undermine the credibility of the elections. They know that the threat of violence will scare away voters, resulting in low voters turn out which was part of their plans from the onset when they were insisting that elections should hold on the 24th of February. Unfortunately for the APC, no amount of noise making will deter GEJ from providing comprehensive security for the elections by involving the military. Let us not forget that GEJ remains the C-in-C.

Rubbish court judgement. We have not forgetting 2011, how innocent lives of men, women, and children including NYSC members were murdered in some part of Nigeria. And some one saying we dnt need security agencies to protect us in this election? We need them more than before the judge is drunk to give that judgement .

Nigerians supporting Buhari is a perfect example of the fundamental kind of corruption that Nigeria should expunge itself off for any true change to occur. We like to break the rules, sometimes it would seem, just out of sheer love for breaking the rules.

Here is a situation in which the prerequisites are very clear. You must have your SSCE or make it available.

Buhari did not make his available. He also lied under oath (perjury) and he does not have the decency (as Mr. Integrity) to step down.

Is this not the kind of disregard/disrespect for rules, laws, procedures and prerequisites that has led to the rot in our society today?

Is this not the same kind of disregard/disrespect for rules, laws, procedures and prerequisites he claims to come in with no tolerance for?

Mr constitution lecturer, when you are done with your lectures, you go and sleep because soldiers have already been deployed for the elections. If those murderers that massacred people in the post election violence of 2011 as much as try to gather, they will be decisively crushed. Never again will GEJ allow APC to use non provision of security for lives and property to ridicule him. This time around,he will effectively fulfil his duties as the chief security officer of the entire country, no kangaroo court can stop him from performing this important duty. Law abiding Nigerians deserve to be safe before, during and after the elections.

I think that the wild beasts who want to let themselves loose are the APC leaders whose stock of trade remains the use of intimidation and threat of violence, especially in the north, to undermine the credibility of the elections. Whatever measures the de facto government chooses to put them in check ought to be commended by every right thinking Nigerian, except their irredeemably deluded followers who unfortunately are an insignificant minority.
