youghs:How did I take it out of context? Some guys were commissioned as 2nd Lit, then the NDA new commandant said NO, you guys are not worthy to be a 2nd Lit then he kicked them out. The people who gave them the go ahead must be able to give reasons why they were allowed to become 2nd lieutenant. This issue no b small issue o, Do you know what it takes to become a 2nd lieutenant You can explain to me please if you think I am taking it out of context, I will love to understand. |

BabaOwen: The training given to cadets change from time to time for several reasons. The current commandant wasn't just pleased with the training given to the cadets and he changed it, though he took it too far but it has nothing to do with accepting money for sorting. |

youghs:I didn't say there were sorting, I was just thinking out loud Another Commandant will get there tomorrow, he might not also be pleased with the training given to the cadets during this current Commandant tenure. He will also recall some of the cadets and also change some of the trainings It seems there is no common template they follow in NDA. Every Commandant go just reach there, do him own thing. 8 Likes |

BabaOwen:What then are the purpose of the treaties signed after the second world War? What then is the purpose of the UNSC? The right of might has been phased our more than 70 years ago. What was the reason for the first gulf War? We live in an unjust world, some countries do it and get away with it while others are punished brutally. If you fight another nation over a territory that wasn't yours and you win, it will forever remain occupied territory as long as it is in your hand and depending on what you do in that territory, you could be prosecuted for war crimes. |

His lack of discipline showed through mentioning names calling the Senior Officers who treated him nicely and the ones who treated him harshly bastards. The US Army &Marines have basically three types of regiment training For ordinary recruits For Officers For SF . Like Nigeria the last 2 are extremely demanding, demeaning and mentally exhausting to weed out people like the Gentlemen who is now venting on Social Media. 6 Months ago a General did( Navy) . He was fired immediately. This is the age of the whiners. When you VOLUNTEER for the NDA or the USArmed you sign a form stating you understand the training could result in your death. You are not being coerced or drafted to join. And yet Mr Social media joined. No in the US they don’t stand you on your head they only wake you up at 4 a.m. to go swim in full poor insulation clothes in the San Diego for Hours. Then run and roll in the Sand cursing the Shit out of you to quit this is the part they are allowed to show on TV. The other part where they teach officers what to expect if they are caught by the Taliban or enemy forces is never shown. Ajebutter here wants us to feel sorry for him. He was told he was signing his life away. He did . He couldn’t hack it. Even now Ajebutter doesn’t know he is being tracked and those he left behind will be shown his rants. He is listening to assholes who never missed a meal, butter , sausage and cereal were their lot in life they are giving him advice Pele, Biko sorry for your pain. This fool would of shit in his pants if he had transferred to Damboa , Kondunga , Marte Baga. We thank God for the Major who weeded him out. These are the mofos whose parents would write my friends long letters of bribes “ Please don’t send my Son to the Front/danger zone anything you want I will give to you.” My friend put them there to chew dirt. Baba Owen as usual would come to his defense So ri aiye re? You see your life? Those who stuck it out are on their second promotion. Nah I don’t feel sorry for you .I am just glad you didn’t make it to Second Lieutenant. Space was created for that hard nosed kid from Ajegunle who by hardworking and street smarts got into the Academy and is not on Social Media blubbering away. “ No be every rag wey person get for house nah him dey put outside make sun see am. 9 Likes |

SamuelAnyawu:Yes they do , the boko haram has exposed the danger of allowing only ajebutter ( kids from privileged backgrounds) to fill the infantry combat ranks. LT. GEN Buratai has been known to promote NCOS straight into the officer ranks for those who have shown exceptional bravery in combat. This practice was common during the Civil War. Rtd LT.Gen Dongoyaro one of the best Ecomog General s started out as a Corporal. It was abolished after the CIVIL WAR, however LTB has as he has the power to do so promoted personnel on the spot . To be frank even further Lt.Gen Minmah also did some. |

LTGEN:You should also talk about walfare for soliders in the US, proper feeding and how their health is well taken care of. Why don't we copy that? The British military that we copied, does not allow their cadets to do what would lead to their death, their documentaries on how they train their cadets used to be aired on Discovery, bullying would result in expulsion. That someone dies during training is unheard of. Nobody signs his life out in training in foreign countries. It never happens in those countries you mentioned. Courage is not achieved by hardship, it is achieved by proper training on how to handle situations. Physical training is just to strengthen the body. It does not make one more battle wise and sound, you teach cadets proper leadership not harden them. That's why our soldiers are usually wicked yet very undisciplined. The other day, cadets were dancing on the road, blocking traffic. Many cadets I've met are very unruly, and heartless. Those are the kind of people we produce. If it were only SFs I would have not had so much problem, what does sitting on the head for hours achieve in the life of a cadet? 12 Likes 1 Share |

Faithful007:WTF are you talking about Just last month in the span of a week 11 Marines died in a training accident aboard an amphibious vehicle training under extremely dangerous conditions. Did you see their mates come and complain on social media ? A Marine will train under the most demanding and demeaning conditions. He won’t go awol and he definitely wouldn’t compare himself to a US Policeman. That would be considered a bloody insult. A US Officer training is more demanding and more demeaning some of it is not fit your nice Social Media. Female Officers are also told they can be raped. It is voluntary both in the US and Nigeria . Don’t watch TV too much and believe the absolute rubbish you see on TV about US Military training. 1 Like |

LTGEN:They were on exercise and an accident occurred sir. How is it same with what we are talking about? Was it the training itself that killed them? A US officers training abiet challenging is not demeaning at all. You can do some research about what goes on there. It's very transparent unlike here. And you talk a lot about secret training, what do you have to prove that there is something sinister going on. Only mission specific preparations are classified. Love for the military here also includes clamoring for reforms, things should not always remain the way they are. Archaic practices should be left for jihadists, they're the ones who need it. 16 Likes |

Faithful007:Jesus is coming soon)). You clearly are going of point, So The Nigerian cadets that die during training is suicide abi? Not accident... I knew someone who died while crossing a river with rope during training, is that not an accident. Any cadet who dies during training, is as a result of one mistake or the other, that's the reason they sign theur death before training, so that the military won't be held responsible. 3 Likes |

Faithful007:Jesus is coming soon)) plane crash, car crash, motorcycle accident, train derailing bicycle accident even wheel barrow accident are all accident. People have died. Do you know the meaning of accident? What you are saying now is that, the Nigerian military deliberately took them out to kill.. how come majority of them survived.. LTGEN:Oga calm down, do you know what happened to me? You're here saying that i chickened out, nda is 5years and i trained for 3years so do you think I'll run when I've trained for 3years? Yeah i was complaining because of the break because I've been serving restriction, I've been in the Academy for almost 2years without going home for break, i don't know if you're an officer, even if you're an officer you won't still understand because colitos(SSC) didn't train at perm site except you're a regular. I was withdrawn from Academy and you're here saying you're thankful that I'm no longer in the Academy, i don't know you and i don't want to know you but I'll advice you not to be happy for another man's downfall, because this world is a small world and what goes around surely comes around. Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Redemption1: 11:58pm On Sep 28, 2020 |
@Ltgen, not that I'm praising the previous commandant but you can't just compare the previous and present commandant, I'm going to give you some instances. 1: in terms of military training, cadets trained well in the previous one than this current one, 3years ago when i was a clown we went for amateur shooting range, we were given 20 bullets each, same thing happened 2years ago but when this new commandant came he reduced it to 7bullets, that's for clowns oo. 2: during the previous commandant time, if you just report to the Academy as a clown you'll be issued complete kit but sarham didn't give clowns anything, they bought everything with their money, how will you join the military and they won't give you uniform or boot? You'll be the one buying it... 3: I won't say oyebade didn't withdraw cadets, he did that but it was when he did that but it was when a cadet committed a serious offence, if it's a minor case you'll either get dash away or relegation but sarham will just withdraw you straight for minor issues, seniors that passed out from Nda were called back, they were relegated after some months he still withdrew all of them, haba! In oyebade's time if you're a relegated cadet and you commit, it's either you serve job or he'll relegate you again, when sarham came he withdrew all those cadets that were relegated twice, he just said he doesn't want any cadets that has been relegated twice, funily enough this present commandant was a relegated cadet when he was still a cadet... I don't even want to compare, the former commandant was a war machine, he was too good, he's just like the present CAS and I know if he was the CAS he would do better than this one, no need for long story, just ask any officer that have worked with oyebade 10 Likes |

Redemption1:I don't know how those clowns did it but they opened the boot and jumped out from the car, the officer chased them but the thined out, cadets are magicians , The officer did eye service and he told commandant about what happened, Las Las those clowns were sos (struck of strength). The next day commandant banged fire alarm, oboy! First commandant fire alarm since he came to office, the baba was just angry that cadets went to town, the truth is that you can't stop cadets from blowing awol, it's not possible, you didn't give them break and you don't want them to blow awol, is there anything like that? I'm sure that you're a civilian @Ltgen, even if you're an officer you're probably a colito so you won't understand, I can bet my life that you're not a regular, you think RC training is the same with colitos or that smoke soldiers do at deport, lemme give you a breakdown of Nda routine.. Light out is by 23:30 but is there anything like light out in my father's Academy? Light out that you'll be serving you culprit job, or doing anything, light out is supposed to be from 23:30 to 01:30 but you can't sleep for that 2 hours because you'll be shinning boot(as per glass ), when you're through with this you'll iron your uniform and you'll clean your room, you'll scrumb your floor with brush so tey the floor will be tired and start calling you dj khalid It's possible for you to be even serving job, your culprit will come and park you and go and suffer you, but I'm not even talking about the job aspects, i just want to just talk about the normal Academy routine, from 01:30 to 04:00 cadets will be doing jikapa, that's cleaning on their various platoon, they wash toilets and all those stuffs, in Nda we no get cleaners... That 04:00 is time for muster parade, muster will finish by 5 and everybody will go our for first period lectures, it's usually from 06:00 to 06:45, but you must be at the venue of your first period 30mins early, so way and manner you go to cadet mess and eat you dinner by that 5am is your business but cadets don't like going to mess that morning because you'll be late for first period and if you're late you'll serve job, oscars(soldiers) them go use you take shine, them no like us and we no like soldiers and colitos(SSC %DSSC) First period will end by 06:45 and you'll have to run back to lines(hostel) to go and change up and go for A branch class, that's from 8am to 2pm, you that they'll catch in lines by 7:10am you'll nearly run mad, one funny thing about Nda is that when you're in your room you'll look your room but immediately you're going out you'll open your doors and many cadets are thieves, you'll even see your senior telling you to go and steal something for you, he'll say tactically mamsa that stuff and bring it to me.. From 2pm you'll go to mess for lunch, on your way to mess you'll just be serving job from one Junction to another, mehn e dey sweet to serve job oo, I miss serving job, cadets sef will hunch (frog jump) 3.2km, we'll be hunching so tey frog will even see us and start calling us course mates , we'll nak forward row so tey we'll have the devil's eye at out back but we were already used to serving job.... After all the job sha cadets will double to mess and damage the canwee(food) properly, then go to lines to change up for games, games depends on the coming up competition, if it's obstacle competition all man will go and be crossing obstacle, it just depends on the competition, games is from 15:30 to 18:00 then cadets will go and prepare for prep (night class) then central checking. Oboy! Time for Central checking just zero your mind for job, everybody must serve job, if you're a culprit you seniors will come and park you, they'll suffer you toll God knows when, you'll serve job till the next day, you can save job for 7hours straight. Oboy! Nda is not like deport oo, I have seen soldiers that later got into Nda and they dashed, e dey happen, the suffering is for 5 years and yes cadets do cry, even the so called 5th termers dey cry , the thing is just for you to just zero you mind and pray you pass out, because you can suffer for 5years and on the day of POP they'll still withdraw you, that's ofe! I'll complete the story later today sha, why i was withdrawn and what happened after my withdrawal 19 Likes |
