The op never condoned the crimes neither did he justify it. All he tried to explain was that the tag of xenophobia is not apt for the situation currently in south africa. If you have a contrary view on that particular point state it clearly and without hate. If you have a view on a related point state it and move on. Otherwise most of the comments so far sound like if they would do the exact same thing in Nigeria if given the opportunity.

Everyone isn't a scammer in Nigeria but that's not d reason why embassies make it difficult to grant Nigerians visas into their country. Its becos of the few who are 419ers.
