In 2012 Tim Melaya, El Rufai and their other APC friends blocked the street of Nigeria in protest against the removal of fuel subsidy proposed then by Goodluck's PDP, in 2015 Tim Melaya has won himself a sit in the senate and El Rufai as his state Governor, and their party through the president elect Buhari has just told us that the top in their priority is to remove the fuel subsidy. Well, I'm not implying it's a bad or good idea, I'm wondering if Melaya and Rufai especially would still think that Goodluck was wrong in 2012?

His position is that subsidy should not even be there in the first place and it is a pure fraud since we have 4 refineries in our country already which should satisfy domestic demand. If we did have to import, it should be on a simple fee agreement and not some phantom 'subsidy' that runs into trillions.
