picture of children going to school in the yorubaland. compare to the picture of children going to public school in the north. note this is a public school in the north. and an average public school in the north is far far better than the yorubalans. i use to teach in the north before. they have all tools to teach in the north. but the same govt do not provide to the yorubas.

That is a pilot program to implement the cheap computers for school children and was sponsored by the UN.

Jabi is a federal school, why didn't you compare with other federal schools in the south?

You must be very daft if you think all Northern schools look that way. If they did there would be many more southerners up there.

Besides, I can GUARANTEE that if you take a census at that school there will be more southerners there.

Stop telling bare faced lies - Many if not most Northern schools are in as bad a state, if not worse than their southern counterparts.

How many southern universities can compare with ABU. The federal govt have pump more money into ABU than any other universites in nigeria. Don't be daft - 1,000 people using 100 seats will always be worse than 70 people using 100 seats. The population pressure in the south is a big factor in decay. When you have fewer people in school in the North, the facilities are bound to last longer.

Now of the total revenue in nigeria. The north get 60% of the money with thier less than 40 % of the population of nigeria. they recieve 65% of the money. How you may ask, let me break it down into figure.

25% of federal allocation goes to thier pet Northern project called ABUJA. of the 54% to the federal govt.
50% of the money goes to minisitries. 60% is used in the north and you remember the repos local government of oyo state, an imaginary local govt. in the last 20 years yorubaland have not seen any completed really federal project of important. And some heartless people want us to remain in nigeria. God would deal with them and thier children.
25% goes for the president and others. 70% of this money is used in the north)

Now let do the calculation. of the 50% that goes to the ministries, that is 30% and add this to 25% of abuja is 55%. Now of the 25% that goes to the president and others. 70% is used in the north. which is 17.5% . If you add this to the 55% , you get 70%,

so 25% [abuja] + 30% [ministries] + 17.5% [presidency and others.] = 25 + 30 + 17.5 = 72.5% of federal allocation

and 72.5% of 54% of the total allocation is 39.15 %

Now let go to the local government allocation. 21% , of this amount, please verify on the official website of the ministries of finance. the north get about 57% of the amount.
57% of 21% is 11.7 %.

now to state allocation, The north get about 40% of the amount, this is because of 13% oil derivation. 40% of 25% is 10%,

So what the north get is 39.15 [federal] + 11.7 [local goverment] + 10[state] == 60. 85 %

So 60.85% of the total allocation of nigeria goes to the north,

First of all let me help you react to this . If chief obafemi awolowo was alife, he would realy weep in his gravel.

You find many people call themself awo but they rob thier people. How can a man who have rob his people claim he follows the principle of awo?

Awo stood against injustice , and any form of injustice, do you find this people talking about what they have done to the yoruba people. We Yorubas believe that we would be better off with Benin . Look we have done our figure and we would be far far better off.

Ghana budget is about $5 billion. The new republic of benin budget cant not be less than $10 billion. And at the moment we are only getting just $3.0 billion from the federal goverment. So we are far better of in benin republic.

Do not let any yoruba thief , who have stole from government now tell you we should remain in nigeria for what.? Do not associate with him or have anything to do with him. he is jsut a common thief. We in the Egbe Omo Odua have never stole before and will would never steal, we are God fearing people and we would never mislead you.

We have done the calculation. little oil is better than plenty oil, if you are not getting the money and is going into someone else pocket. Here is a picture of the oilfield in Nigeria. So that the north can see it. That they do not need us, All they need is the east. they can see where the oil is and take it , and they can let our people go join the republic of Benin. Anybody who does not want to go with us can keep his nigeria passport and relocate. And i would see if that nigeria passport can even give him visa to somalia without been search to his pants if he is a thief or carrying drugs.

Let look at the population figure of the New republic of Benin in 20 years.

The present figure which they claim is official from the benin govt and nigeria govt, put us as about 50 million people.

We have seen the satellite picture and we know that the nigeria figure is not correct. We know it is above 60 million people at the moment.

Now here is what our population would be in 20 years.

We are going to use the population growth rate of nigeria to calculation the Population of The New republic of Benin.

In 1991 to 2006 , which was about 15 years. Nigeria population went from 88.5 million to 140 million.
The population growth rate would be calculated as

140/88.5 = 1.5819 ( which is the closer to the average in africa)

So if our population is 60 million today. And at the same growth rate of nigeria in 15 years. The new republic of Benin would have a population in 15 years of

60 ,000,000 X 1.5819 = 94. 9152 million people.

And in 20 years would have population above 100 million people.

So will a people of over 100 million in 20 years, will they allow thier future to be determine by others. The answer is no. This is why we would have problem in future, if we do not move the Yorubas and bendle area to the republic of benin.

The new republic of Benin would have a population of over 100 million people in the next 20 years. Which is a population that is good for business too.

What I am trying to say is. If Ghana budget is $5 billion. And Ghana population is about 20 million.

The per capital head( Let say money each person in Ghana would get if shared is )

5,000,000,000 / 20,000,000 = $250

Now it do that of Yorubas in Nigeria. With the really population about 50 million people. And we get about $3 billion from the federal govt.

3,000,000,000 / 50,000,000 = $60

This means a person from Ghana lives 4 times better than a Yorubaman, But we claim we have oil. ?

Benin Republic per head is even better than Yoruba and even better than Ghana.

If we leave Nigeria. Our per head increases to $200. It means we yorubas would live 3 times better than what we live in Nigeria.

With the 2009 budget , it means that out of 2.9 trillion naira. The north would be getting 1.74 trillion of the money. which is $12.42 billion

and if you find the per head of about 50 million northerner.

12., 420, 000,000 / 50,000,000 = $248.4 for every northerner.

compare this to $60 the yoruba man get.

How Old are you,if you are more than 25 yrs then you must be foolish or lack simple geographical orientation,where did you get that stupid map of urs which states sapele has no Oil Well,omg,plz say what you know Ok, just for your Information,Sapele has 59 Oil Wells, Two flow stations, one in AMokpe the other in gberikoko,, my parents house is approx 15 mins drive from an Oil well and 25 mins drive from the Flow station,don't you read or listen to the news, I bet you dont even know what an Oil well looks like or have ever been opportune to see one,plz go and do proper research just type oil wells in Sapele into google and see what comes out.

Oh lest I4got, U even mentioned that warri city has no oil wells lol U are dumb,warri is termed the Oil city why the Bleep do you think they call it so,U dont expect them to drill wells in NNPC xpres way abi? lol I just realised you know nothing bout Oil and its Wells, mayB you are mistaking it for one of thos local wells you store waters in during the rainy seasons in Ondo State abi,Sapele and Warri has no Oil Wells my ass

This Ooni of Ife is a strange fellow. He's the same person that claimed that Oduduwa came down from heaven on a staircase with a chicken and some corn to create the earth in the 12th century AD.

How can the Ooni of Ife nominate himself as the top Yoruba leader yet not brave enough to lead them to the promised land (Benin Republic, the largest part of the old Benin Empire).
