Sometime in late 2000, i went to Jamb office to collect my sister's result. While I was sitting waiting to be called, a beautiful girl walked towards me. I really didn't see where she came from. She asked to sit with me and I agreed.

So we started talking and at a point she was stroking my thigh. There was this funny feeling I had so I just started muttering a prayer ( still don't know why i did that). We talked and talked and talked. We ended up exchanging addresses.

She however insisted on doing the visiting. We later left there together and she paid my transport fare to Obalende from Ikoyi. I returned to school that weekend. As God would have it, my roomate was going to see a friend of his on the same street the girl told me she lived. He promised to check her out.

I was shocked when my roomate came back to tell me that the girl in question had been dead for like 2 - 3 yrs. Her family still lived on that street. I eventually met 2 other peole who knew her when she was alive.

I was really scared but I prayed about it. I told my sisters but I didn't tell my parents. Sounds like "nollywood stuff" but it happened to me. What do you peple think

Nice start. Tweak it a little bit, add some more plots and you'll be ready to shop the script around to Nollywood big-wigs. Goodluck.

Re: This Ghost Paid My Transport Fare by leketoye(m): 3:03pm On Sep 10, 2006
I hope I did pray well. Actually I learnt from the 2 people that knew her (they actually live on the same street) that her ppl belivd she was killed so they did a ritual to find out her killer. And while they were doing this, someone sighted her
(the dead girl) walking away down the street.

I think she'd ( her spirit ) been roaming the streets. She actually collected her jamb results the day I met her. Strange.

Eh so you are blaming me now. Remember I was sitting on my own jeje when she came to meet me. Come to think of it, she was ready to go home with me that day. If I didn't slow down, I could have slept with her. LUCKY ME.
Re: This Ghost Paid My Transport Fare by Seun(m): 4:51pm On Sep 10, 2006
How did they know that the girl you saw was the same girl the others were looking for? Did you take her picture and show it to them, or was it the name that was the same? A general description like "a dark girl" means nothing!

Many people run away from home because they are being mistreated. This girl may have done the same. If they do not have her body, the fact that you saw her at the JAMB office means she probably just ran away. Duh!
Re: This Ghost Paid My Transport Fare by leketoye(m): 5:00pm On Sep 10, 2006
Believe me,
1. the name matched

2. the description matched perfectly

3. The home address she gave me was correct except that she changed the house number .

4. She died in a car crash

5. My informants live on the same street with her family, plus one of them was her junior at Airforce secondary school ikeja.

I agree this is strange but men it's TRUE. I experienced it.
Re: This Ghost Paid My Transport Fare by Seun(m): 5:14pm On Sep 10, 2006
If she had been dead for 2 or 3 years, does it mean she wrote the exam as a ghost?
Why is a ghost writing JAMB?

the description matched perfectly
What description? "A very beautiful girl" is all you told us and I have met very many of such.

1. the name matched
Identity theft is a possible explanation (if you're not fibbing).

3. The home address she gave me was correct except that she changed the house number
Did you visit the the 'incorrect' address she gave you to see if someone who looks like her lives there? What if it's a prank by the girl to give you a wrong name and address in order to mislead you? That would explain her refusal to be escorted home. Perhaps she didn't enjoy the date as much as you did?
Re: This Ghost Paid My Transport Fare by leketoye(m): 5:26pm On Sep 10, 2006
Seun e be like say you just wan argue but cool down and read what i'm saying.

1. when i say the description matched perfectly, i donn't mean my description on nairaland. I mean my description of the girl to my informants matched that of the girl they knew, same as the name. Of What good will my description on nairaland be? Nobody here knew the girl turned ghost.

2. who do you think i'm talking about George Bush's daughter?? Don't see any reasn why anybody will be interested in stealing her identity.

3. The address she gave me was a school but her family lives on another house on that street.

4. And i never mentioned having a date with her.

Whatever you think bro, I know the girl that paid my fare that day was a ghost.

I don't doubt your experience at all. Ihave no reason to think you're lying.

However, what you thought was a dead girl, was in fact a demon pretending to be her. The fact that you prayed suggests to me that you believe in God. If that is the case then believe the bible.

The bible teaches that "the dead know not anything" Eccl. 9:5, "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7.

The body without the spirit ["breath," see margin] is dead." James 2:26,  "The spirit of God ["the breath which God gave him," see margin] is in my nostrils." Job 27:3.

You see friend there is a notion being taught that the soul of man is eternal. This is a false teaching and isn't biblical. Satan introduced it to Eve in the garden which led to her disobedience. He told her that if she ate the forbidden fruit she wouldn't necessarily die as God had said. Its obvious he Satan had a huge plan, which he has managed to pass on to people who fail to read and understand God's words.

Let me share a true story wit the board. A report came from the army one day that a mother's son was missing in action. He was presumed dead. The love that she had for her son was so great that she felt she couldn't do better but try and commmunicate with her boy through the use of a medium.

After the process commenced she actually saw an apparition at one of the sessions, and literally heard the "thing" related to matters that were only privy to them as mother and son. She was convinced that that was her son. She heard the same voice, and saw the same appearance, at least so she thought.  grin

This continued for awhile, but one afternoon while she was at home, she heard a rap at the door, and went to enquire. Who do you think she saw at the door? Next time I tell you, Just kidding.  grin, guess who? She saw her real son. He wasn't dead after all.

My question to the board is; who did she communicate with before her living son appeared?

Ever wondered why the bible refers to them as "familiar spirits" Its because for every person that is born there is an assigned demon to observe everything about them. They study your personality and actions, and although they cannot read your mind, they have a good idea as to your weaknesses. They are familiar with you.

But thank God that for every demon assigned to you by Satan, God has assigned two to you. As long as you do your part Satan cannot touch you unless God permits. As christians we must never create loopholes for demons to molest us. Guard well the avenues to your soul, ie be careful what you see, listen to, eat, drink, feel, and even what you believe.

Satan is real and he is the enemy of souls.

As this is a discussion forum, you shouldn't be surprised that I'm discussing your story.

- Why do you think the ghost decided to take JAMB?
- Why did she touch you intimately?
- If she wanted to sleep with you, then fail to check you later?
- Why did she drop a correct name with you? SUrely that defeats her aim right?

If you are a Christian, it may interest you to know that the bible doesn't support your story. wink

So what are you saying Seun that the story wasn't true, or that the girl wasn't what he thought her to be? If its the latter then you don't have a case. The person has more grounds to think so than you.

For one it waasn't your experience, and secondly, the fact that people could testify to the appearance/matching description of the girl who was once alive speaks in favour of leketoye

In my home country there have been similar experiences. I once heard of a man who met this girl at a party, and asked of her a dance to which she obliged. He said that while dancing with her her body felt unusually cold. He didn't pay it any mind. In short he dropped her home after the party, but had forgotten he had loaned her his jacket.

So one evening he went back to pay her a visit and to collect his jacket. He knocked for awhile until a lady came and answered the door. he asked for the girl and gave a description, and even pointed to a door that she had entered. You know what the lady told him after he enquired about the girl?

The lady said that there was no one living in that section of the house for the past 10 years, and that the same girl had died for the same period, having been a family member. So he insisted that this girl took his jacket, grin, and the lady carried him to the family plot. Guess what happened? He saw his jacket on her grave.

These are not made up stories. As I have said before Satan is real and he is playing tricks.

I have no doubt He did. God is mysterious. He allows certain experiences to occur to show us things.

I have so many points, but leketoye doesn't want to examine them lest we make his ghost disappear.

Secondly, there are no "facts" in the story, just leketoye's interpreted reporting which is not neutral because he wants to believe that the girl he met was a ghost. Memories can be corrupted when one is not neutral.

If he came in with the facts and nothing but the facts alone and asked the house to help him to look for explanations, this thread might have been more useful. Instead, he just wants us to agree with his story.

Bobbyaf thanks a lot. I never would have believed it if it did not happen to me. And for the records, it shook it so much that for the next 3 years I didn't get close to any girl enough to have a girlfriend. I've put it all behind me now but my parents still don't know about it.

Seun in all of my short stay on nairaland, I haven't known you to agree with anyone. You antagonise every other view aside from yours. That's the reason why I'm not willing to prove anything to you. Afterall it's not like i'm entering for a competition to win money. If you will be objective, I'll tell you more details.

@ Bobbyaf ,
It is good knowing that there is someone with a sound biblical background here. Nice to have you here bro!!!

@leketoye ,
It is a fact that you had your experience but the truth is that there is nothing like a ghost (just the wayBobbyaf expositorily pointed out above) .The bible clearly states " it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment." Hebrews 9: 27

@Seun and co

let me give u a true life story that happened in jos, (enugu road to be precise)

a pregnant woman was taken to jos unoversity teaching hospital (juth) to be delivered of her baby, due to childbirth complicatioons, she died.

This woman came to her compound, still heavy with the preganancy intact, came visisting her neighbours who were not aware that she had already died. She sat down and even gisted with them. Her neighbours were even suprised to see ger back home, but she told them that it wasnt her e.d.d yet. One of them even offered her a cup of water to drink.

As if she sensed her husband coming, she told them she wanted to ease herself, and then got into the bathroom.

Immediately, her husband came in crying, broke the new of her death to the neighbours, who refused to believe him, they searched the bathroom, but lo and behold, no one was there.

It took them seeing her corpse to actually believe that she died.

Another incidence i heard happened at bauchi, this lady was to travel to the village with her husband and kids. The husband decided to collect money someone was owing him, on his way back he had a terrible accident and died.

He appeared to his wife, and actually gave her the money (about =n=400,000) and specifically told her to deposit it into her personal account. She dutifully obeyed, on her return from the bank, she saw policemen and some few relations who came to tell her that her husband had died.

Pls pls and pls, seun and co, what do u have to say about these two incidents

Re: This Ghost Paid My Transport Fare by Seun(m): 2:09pm On Sep 12, 2006
As KAG has emphasized it's all hearsay.

If someone can come to the forum to lie about her own death, why won't people start rumors about ghosts just for fun? All it takes is for someone to tell a lie along the lines of "did you hear that so and so happened at so and so place" and because you all believe in ghosts you'll be passing it around until everyone believes it's true. Some rumors are based on true stories twisted by mischievous elements to make them seem fantastic.

Under close examination, supernatural claims tend to crumble into nothingness. They can never be proven.

@seun, i got ur message, so sorry didnt mean to be rude :-) kiss kiss kiss

secondly, Case one was not really hearsay, my colleague witnessed it life, and it was not like he was the only one there. There were like 8 of them who saw the dead woman. Remember, in the mouth of 2 or 3 witness, every word shall be established
