Charly68: The same Federal might they use to rig Rivers, same they use to rig kano, Bauchi, gombe and Lagos. The same result sheet were used to write results, the worst scenarios was that, there is no cancellation or void ballot papers. which means everything is alright. |

chinenye80: Governor Chibuike Amaechi has described the ongoing guber and House of Assembly elections in the state as a sham. Amaechi spoke shortly after he was accredited at his ward in Ubima community, Ikwerre local government area. His wife was also accredited. http://newswirengr.com/2015/04/11/governor-rotimi-amaechi-cries-out-says-rivers-election-is-a-sham/ |

Gejpresident:Although I am very disappointed at the inability of PDP to win. Truth be told, the most annoying part is that GEJ developed first the North and Part of SW and believed to transform SS if he had won. Well no matter what, I wish APC a success let them see the evil of USA and work with China for better development. If GEJ had won, Nigeria would have changed for good. #WeAreANigeria |

Re: Amaechi Refuses To Set Up Transition Committee by deltapikin(m): 6:47pm On May 07, 2015 |
Amaechi's action is a contradiction to the change slogan he is shouting. I believed that if any PDP governor acted the way Amaechi is behaving APC would have started shouting impunity. Why can't his party call him to order and advised him to seek redress in court. By the way is he Peter Dakuku that lost the election? |

This stupid man will carry this same attitude of impunity to the federal level where he will be properly dealt with. |

Gejpresident:That was one of the most powerful speeches so far delivered. May you continue to stay and remain at the top for your sincere and open truth without any regard and fear of attacks from apc. GEJ has really changed the mindset of so many people who would have remain on the side of unforgiveness. So many continue to ask themselves that whether it is possible to do what GEJ has done? Some see it as a man under the direct influence from God. To these people, it is not possible for a Nigerian to be as peace loving as GEJ. Each time I see this man in the screens, without any sign of annoyance, am always believing that there is God in our time and realy surprised. if not that Nigeria is such a place where too many people and things are updown, this man, GEJ should be giving as many awards as possible. But God protections is the utmost. May God bless you GEJ. |

Transition committee is good but not a must. It's a choice and no one should be vilified if such deem it unnecessary. The constitution doesn't even say such so I wonder why amaechi should be condemned on this. It's his choice. By May 29, he vacates office and becomes much more powerful than he is currently. All hail the best Rivers state governor in recent times. 1 Like |

Trailblazer1: Sharrap amaechi got it were it matters not ur south east and south south which has by their actions isolated themselves politically. Whether u like it or not the south south and south east will continue to remain a political slave to other parts of Nigeria until they start thinking like amaechi and rochas. This is bitter truth. Your type of statement is the reason why other parts of Nigeria still don't trust the igbos and when you don't trust someone you don't give him position of authority . The only president of igbo extraction in future will be rochas whether you guys vote him or not . The rest of Nigerians re solidly behind him. Obama became the first black president of American cos he was able to earn the trust from the white majority. Assuming he was still living in the past the status quo would ve still remained. |

He who sows the wind, reaps the whirl wind. The impunity metted on ROTIMI AMAECHI since 2013 by POWERS THAT BE thru wike is being visited on wike. He didn't allow his predecessor to govern d state in peace now he wants to govern in peace. He distracted Rotimi from a repeat excellent performance we saw during d 1st tenure in his second. 1 Like |

What ever ur claim is, it does not and cannot erase d fact that the person who performed is ROTIMI AMAECHI and not the party else the likes of T A ORJI(Abia), lyel imoke (cross rivers), Gabriel suswam (Benue) et all, would be super heroes 1 Like |

Re: Amaechi Refuses To Set Up Transition Committee by DExplorer1: 10:25am On May 08, 2015 |
ocelot2006:How do you mean? I'm sure you can see the political instability of Wike, he can only be loyal to PDP under Patience Jonathan and now that she's leaving the office, that's all taken away from PDP. Wike only serve as boy-boy to Jonathan's administration and he had been duly rewarded and don't forget, even the tribunal can kick him out. Hence, there are double chances of APC winning rivers again. |
