I was told 3.5kva, below are what I use with it. fridge, 42 inches TV, decoder, home theater, 3 ceiling fan 2 standing fan, 7kg washing machine, about 10 energy bulbs, sometimes use 800wax iron with it.. But I put off fridge to use iron..

He said with his workmanship/ servicing and changing some other things I don't know the name.. Even with engine change, it won't power my freezer

That's why I'm opting for a new generator

Thank you
he said with the engine change it won’t power your freezer? What’s the size of your gen ? The gen in particular was it powering your freezer before it starts having fault?

It's medium sized..2.5 KVA I think... Used to power my small fridge back in the days when it was still new... nowadays if I connect blender, you'll hear the sound change for the gen..

I don't want to spend huge on repairs and still not be able to power up stuffs that's why I'm opting to get a new one.

Thank you

You welcome , just go along with trustworthy mech when going to get a new gen. And again ask the seller to give you guaranty Incase anything should happen to it in some months time.

Hello I want to get a generator to use one in a while when I have extended power outage and my inverter runs down. I have power most of the time (18-20 hours) per day. My inverter fills up the few hours of blackout.
I want to get a gen for the few times in months when we go over a day+ without light.
The generator can go 2 months with coming on,
Kindly advice if this generator is OK or there is a better one. I want a portable sound.

1k fuel takes me 4 times(days) 7pm -10pm

Implies 1k fuel
7-10 (3 hours ) x4.
12 hours right

1k = 6.25 ltrs of fuel (1ltr =161)

Is that even possible

the junior max is rate at 1.0kw (1000watts) ....and 1/3 hp is rated at 248, three 15w bulb are 45w plus 248 =393watts so it should carry it convenient....but let's put machine efficiency at 80 which means your tec junior maxis rated at 800w.... but you should expect to have some flickering in your generator while running the machine.. I'd advise you get something around 2.2kw(2200watts)

if not for the fact you want a new generator, I might advice you get a used one of around 2.5kva 35-45k max.... while I needed a gen I got a theremocool bobo 2.5kva very good condition....and it doesn't consume fuel.

I use 500 naira fuel for 7.5hrs or more and I haven't had any single issue I also power my freezer and 50" tv 6bulbs, two standing fan...and electric sewing machine too....

but I think it all depends on how you can maintain your generator.
new tec might be very expensive, you might go for elepaq constant, or get used gen...my both gen are used and since I got them I haven't repaired anything in both...

you can check on jiji.....and make contact but make sure you search well, you might even get something way less and still save more money....you can also take along a generator mechanic to help you check if there's an issue.
good luck smiley
