For immigration purposes it is valid for more than three months...US embassy tags one yr to it.

It's valid for 1yr for Oz migration.

I'm not sure it will affect ur case much...the folks on strike aren't core guys, I guess. Well, it goes on intermittently till 26/06.

and from what little i know, adelaide is regional area, quiet place, she lives in south adelaide. she source for "close to'' naija foods from indian shops. naija hairdresser bit far from where she lives, housing cheaper than central business district areas. going with kids? you pay for their school fees. u can bring along your international driving license. casual jobs not that common. nigerian churches are there too i.e redeem, deeperlife etc. association nigerian in south australia too, take along thick clothings.no plantain. big seedless oranges, organic foods plenty, cheaper than non organic. any other details u could get them from her.

@Ferdimako, I was @Teleperformance yesterday with 2 of my guys whom submitted for Study Visa application. Medical was front loaded and when I checked online, their Final Medical report has been sent to the DIBP. They did their Medicals last week friday.

The worry is: will this said strike action affect their Visa processing (their resumption date is 13 July, Orientation is 6th July). Some of my guys were given their grant within 5working days.

If these guys are on strike, are they not suppose to halt Visa application collection?

I am new here, I applied for student visa on 11June . I feel it is late cos my TAFE course resumes on 20 JULY.
I also have not done medicals yet.
Please I need advise if I should request extension from the school and how much extension can they give me.

It depends, cos we the CSOL includes the SOL.

Basically, If you are going for a 189, the occupation has to be on the SOL, alongside yours.

If you are going for a 190, it has to be on the CSOL

What I'm not sure about is if it has to be available on the same state list as the one sponsoring your 190. But as for the above details, they are very correct.

The last part is it. Must be on the same list and could be different profession.
