Eden1747:
I have never been as humiliated as I was today at ECOBANK Badagry. I had applied for a MasterCard two weeks earlier and decided to go for it yesterday, Thursday June 25th. I was given the MasterCard but was unable to get my pin as someone in the CSM's office told me the guy had just gone out for medicals. After waiting for about 45 minutes, I left the bank and went about my business. I returned again at 3pm and the CSM wasn't on seat... The same guy in his office told me apologetically that everyone had been looking for him and I gathered from the tone of his voice that the CSM guy's absence was unofficial.

I however returned today, friday 26th and as I walked down the banking hall towards his cubicle. I greeted "Good afternoon, I came for my pin, here's my card" the guy looked at me and ignored my outstretched hand for about 30 seconds before snapping in a loud voice "did I ask for your card?"

I replied that I was a customer and he had no right to talk to me that way, his reply was to snatch the card from me and tell me "you are a goat". So I told him I wouldn't stand there and let him berate me... His response was to fling the card at me. He flung it with so much force that I had to avert my head as the card almost struck my left eye.

I called the head office and try as they did, the guy refused to apologize to me, claiming instead that he was older than me and that why did I call the head office. This was from some guy who called me a goat!

Men u need me, we need to give that guy beating of his life

Your mail isn't gonna recieve any attention cos those email addresses are not correct. That's not Ecobank address nomenclature. So I suggest you get the real email addresses. If u provide THE CSM full name or the branch manager. I would be able to help you.
Thank you.
Keep on banking with Ecobank.

ECO bank staff are known for their rudeness and bad manners. Come to Calabar and see the rot in the banking sector. Eco bank is among the leaders in bad service delivery.

Op, I tend to believe you. Only find it so difficult to believe that a banker will tell you that you are a goat. I so wish it were me, I swear the matter will end up in SSS DG's office that day. Wow. Call me a goat to my face, mehn, that guy will pray he never sets eyes on me again in his lifetime

U took the appropriate step. Don't worry,go back there in 2weeks and u'll discover he's been fired or transferred. U will see the power of nairaland.

U've done your part. I'll do my own small part by sharing this post on my facebook.

I hate that guy,a bad attitude like that will obstruct a lot of good things from getting to him.

Action lady or should I call you spider woman(at your profile pix). Anyway, do what you can... That fellow is too toutish to end up in a bank... He ought to be in the garage, where he can have the avenue to rant and throw things.

Did you read from the beginning? Or its just a case of women hating on women? I was at the bank and OP didn't say a thing. I kept hoping it was me, I saw her get into her car and drive off. Didn't know I'd read about it here.

I'm suprised with your post, what do you expect her to do after gretting him, give him a kiss or a hug?

I've worked as a customer service officer and I can tell you that customer put on attitude to demoralise you but my secret was My charming smile which I use to disarm you and put you at ease

I swear if nah me I'll make sure he withdrew that statement if not I go scatter that bank sotey they'll nearly close for the day, but on a second look maybe the op frustrate the guy and said something that annoyed the guy that she didn't bother to mention in her write-up here.
