Following the revelation by Sahara Reporters of Bukola Saraki’s dual citizenship, there are high indications that the senate president may be relieved of his political duties.

Section 66 (1) of the Nigerian constituion provides thus..

No person shall be qualified for election to the Senate or the House of Representatives if:
(a) subject to the provisions of section 28 of this Constitution, he has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a country other than Nigeria or, except in such cases as may be prescribed by the National Assembly, has made a declaration of allegiance to such a country;

No member of the presidency, NASS and ministers should hold anything more than a Nigerian passport. Even LG chairman sef. Any elected or appointed official.Not even green card. Otherwise we can totally lose the power to make the decisions that are best for our country without foreign interference. If such a law exists that allows government officials to hold two passports, then it must be removed.

Saraki goofed big time .
Instead of fighting for position ( he should not even have contested for the senate ) , he should have taken up the role of a kingmaker behind the scene .

This should serve as deterrence to people whose betrayal is their watchword! Betraying other people's trust can be worse than murder.

A citizen of another country cannot preside over the Nigerian senate. It will never be allowed to stand anywhere, not even lesotho.. Bukola's saraki's election will be nullified. Ain't nothing the brainless Tandroids can do about it!

Where's the evidence that Tinubu's involved in this campaign against Saraki. Granted that Tinubu is still angry at Saraki's emergence as senate president, is Tinubu the only one aggrieved? Anyone of Saraki's adversaries could have been behind this. Must you blame every attack on Saraki as Tinubu's doing?

1. he didn't voluntarily acquire it because he was given birth to there.

Saraki is a British citizen by birth so that provision does not apply to him.
