I blame NFF for making some issues public. The fact that they made this matter public is the reason it has generated a lot of controversies. The reason Eagles' matches are rotated from one state to another ever since they stopped playing at National Stadium, Abuja and in particular Lagos is political and this isn't good as it has cost us in the past.

Enyeama should be aware of all these political moves by government and besides, other junior teams have played in the same stadium and yet we have had no issue. NFF would have tolerated this if the fear was expressed by our opponent and not the Eagles' captain.

Enyeama should also remember that Decree 101 has not been abolished which empowers government to dictate how football is organised in the country and whoever pays the piper, dictate the tune. Enyeama's outburst, though normal, put him in a wrong position with the government.

Above all, for our football to grow, government must hands off and all challenges would be solved easily.

What if the captain was just echoing the fears of the other players? It wasnt as if the captain was rebellious about it. He only questioned the choice of the state. There are some things you dont play politics with..

NFF is grand-standing for nothing. I see ego at play. NFF is causing very serious problems for Nigerian football with their immaturity. How does sacking Keshi help move our football forward? How will a ban on Enyeama help Super Eagles reclaim its pride of place in world football? NFF itself should be sacked!

Enyeama expressed concern about the choice of Kaduna, and that has become a crime. Nonsense!!! NFF should treat the players with respect. Enyeama and Keshi started serving Nigeria before most of those in NFF knew how to count "ABC". It's a shame that we treat our senior players badly.
Amaju never wanted Keshi right from the beginning and powerful men under Jonathan compelled NFF to recall Keshi. Government runs football and when such call was made, who is Amaju to reject it?

With the powerful men out of the picture due to the loss of PDP, NFF wanted to nail Keshi and he played into their hands with his application to Ivory Coast's job after being employed by NFF. NFF threatened Ivorians with FIFA and they spewed the milk. the rest his story.

Keshi's sack, though painful and at the same time, it's just a pinch out of the numerous challenges bedeviling our football. Part of the problem is that for quite sometimes now, we have producing near average players and that is responsible for our dwindling football fortunes. Bring in a worldclass coach and he might not do much because for now, we lack good players. Government needs to hands off football completely before we can get it right.

NFF are bunch of uncivilized iddiots for such penalty on Enyeama. Can't a player or captain not say his view about a venue you want them to play the match? Now it is an offence for any player to speak out. For me, Enyema can go and face his career and forget about this country that is not serious for anything.
Is that enough reason to disrespect Nigeria by TEARING the query issued to him and refusing to attend disciplinary meeting? What he said about Kaduna can be pardoned but when you start condoning such acts of indiscipline, where will it end? Slapping NFF officials? Rubbish!

Look the real crime is the way he reacted to the query issued to him. He tore it up in the presence of those who brought the query! That is indiscipline of the highest order! The punishment for such crime is banishment from the National team

Then they should banish him... i don't think he has anything to lose... He doesnt need the super eagles to continue with the success he has enjoyed in Europe and its not as if this super eagles are likely to win anything in the next 10 years. Bunch of indiscipline nff officials talking about discipline. Mtchew
Re: Enyeama May Have Played Last Game For Nigeria - NFF Official by mfm04622: 1:47pm On Jul 06, 2015
You are all talking as if Enyeama is the only player in the team! Before Enyeama, there was Super Eagles and after him there will be Super Eagles! What can an indiscipline team achieve? Anything? If Chadians are not complaining about the venue, why should our team do? Or Chadians want to die? The issue of complaints from Enyeama is small and I expected it to be swept under the carpet, but tearing up a query and boycotting the disciplinary committee meeting cannot and should not be forgiven.

There are a couple of unconfirmed reports making waves that Enyeama after making his fears known, was issued a query letter which they said he tore. Sincerely, I can't confirm this.

Secondly, I learnt an invite was sent to Enyeama to face a panel setup by NFF to investigate the matter, while Big Boss honoured the invite, Enyeama didn't turn up. Like Sarakill claimed he wasn't aware that PMB invited all APC Senators to ICC, Enyeama claimed he didn't receive any invite.

The whole issue is somehow. I still maintain that the way forward is for government to face governance and allow football matters be handled by people saddled with such responsibilities.

Finally, I don't want us to lose Enyeama for now. He is still our best.

With Keshi's sack, NFF has suddenly grown some balls. Strip him of the captain's armband and a fine would do but don't ban him. He is our best player for now.

What pure stupidity!

So because it is a government "policy" if he objects to it with logical reasons, he must be punished?

Of course nff are fools.... did you see any of the nff ranking officials on the ground that day.. there is nothing wrong if a captain should echo the fears of his team mates. It was not even as if he was rebellious, he only questioned the decision behind the choice of kaduna... And who told you the opponents didnt complain about the venue. If they like they should take the next match to maiduguri and expect the players to rush there like malus just because Nigeria is their country... Rubbish
On point,my broda.Enyeama didn't even mention that the pitch was crap or the stadium was eventually filled far below capacity.NFF should have left the national venue at Cross River/Akwa Ibom.We were very lucky to win that match (never mind the 2-0 scoreline)
Re: Enyeama May Have Played Last Game For Nigeria - NFF Official by Nobody: 3:01pm On Jul 06, 2015
Tell us his comments on the security situation in Kaduna and lets know if he got it wrong.
You were playing Chad and fixed Kaduna as venue knowing your oppponents are used to high temperatures with reasonable support base there due to cross border illegal migration.
If the Eagles had failed you would've used that as reason to sack Keshi but since they emerged victorious you devised other allegations.

NFF please Sack Enyeama from SE and As Captain, He is the reason for Boko haram in the Northern Nigeria and he is also responsible for kaduna being a stronghold of Boko haram. Enyeama is also the reason the super eagles did not qualify for the last nations cup. Enyeama is responsible for all the insecurity and indiscipline that plagues Nigeria.

As Soon as Enyeama is sacked, Boko haram will end in Nigeria, boko haram will no longer attempt to kill leaders like they did buhari in Kaduna. Kaduna and the entire North will be safe as soon as enyeama is sacked.
The Super Eagles will do better without Enyeama please Sack enyeama!

If he doesn't do the needful, which is of course, tendering a formal apology for his 'uncaptainlike' conduct, then he should be stripped off the captainship and be banned to serve as a deterrent to others who may want to toe that line. No player or manager is bigger than his country's FA.

If the recommendations of the NFF disciplinary
committee stands, then Super Eagles captain
Vincent Enyeama, has played his last game for the
former African champions.

According to African Football, the Lille goalkeeper
may be stripped of his captaincy, following his
remarks about the security of Kaduna, before the
Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

“The federation is not happy with the Eagles
captain. And I am sorry to say if the leadership
decides to follow the recommendations of the
disciplinary committee to the letter, then maybe
Vincent Enyeama may have played his last game
for the Super Eagles,” said one official.

“Even if he is recalled to the national team, he may
no longer wear the captain’s armband, because the
NFF view his actions before and after the game
against Chad as bad example for other players, also
he didn’t show up for the disciplinary committee
hearing”.

The official added: “You see what has happened to
Keshi, it’s the disciplinary committee’s
recommendations; so, if Enyeama escaped their
recommendations, then it must be a divine
intervention.”

Enyeama made his debut in 2001 and he is now the
most capped Nigeria star with 101 appearances

You can get away with Keshi but with Enyeama? He's gonna give you good riddance to bad rubbish!

If your team captain, best player and veteran is being treated this way, know for sure that nothing good will EVER come from your regime.

Bunch of losers!
Abeg shift the FA are begining to do the right thing for once. Insurbodination is a serious crime anywhere in the world. Where there is no descipline there is no progress.

Before Enyeama, there was super eagles after him there will continue to be. So there's no need to feel that if he is not in the team, super eagles will crumble. We ve always had good keepers and will continue to do so. Its cos of sentiments like these that players feel they re bigger than the team.

If he is at all pardoned it should be because of his legacy and so that he retires in an honourable manner not cos we can't do without him.
No it is because of the useless NFF board that make nigerian players not to give their all.
if I were enyeama, I'd retire and tell the board to go Bleep themselves.

What crime did Enyeama commit in rightly airing out his concerns about the venue of the match?
Typical useless nff board trying to massage their overblown ego.

No player questions the decision of the FA in deciding match venues - at least not publicly. U don't hear it in England, Spain or even Ivory Coast or Ghana. And I bet if any player from any other country did it and wae sanctioned, we would be in support, but not in Nigeria. If u have reservations why not talk to your FA chairman or president or anyone in authority about it, rather than going public.

Such doesn't happen in any organisation, even companies. So why should the NFF condone it.

Another open door for Stephen Keshi as CHUSO F.C ENUGU pick interest for a contract.

On the 6th of July the Chuso Boss Mr Chuks Oguegbu spoke with Keshi on phone and it was gathered that Keshi might Join the Chuso of Enugu State before the month runs out . According to Keshi he said he might not have any interest to coach in Nigeria any more more due to the relationship he has with Chuso Boss he may consider the offer.
