I love what the commentator just said. He said it's a different atmosphere when Tevez is there and Berbatov is not.
They should leave Berbatov on the bench for me as he is. He can come in second half. . . if he so desires.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 8:12pm On Apr 29, 2009
I love Silvestre grin

As for commentaries and stuff, there will be no locking. Everybody's free to post on whichever thread they feel like.  .  .see it like hanging out with your favorite guys.
If your favorite guys are on the Arse thread, go there. Manc thread, stay here. Game thread, go there. Let the place explode, lol. grin

I cannot believe we have not scored 5 goals in this half.
Ronaldo and Tevez have been wasteful.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 8:20pm On Apr 29, 2009
Ronaldo should have buried that header. He headed straight
at Almunia
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 8:22pm On Apr 29, 2009
Right now, benching Berba is turning out to be the best idea Fergie had for this game! Tev is all ideas and energy!

Arsenal are proceeding cautiously using the MF.  .  .they would do better if they utilize their wings more.

He should be shot for that.
My grandmum woulda buried that. . . . . .
All he had to do was guide the header into the near post.

if they use the wings, they will be killed on a massive counters

So why bother with wingers then? They won't be. . .they should counter us using their wings. They're like, sticking strictly to the MF and we're shutting 'em down. When a way isn't working, you should try another.

Not that I'm complaining, of course. grin
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Moonstone(f): 8:26pm On Apr 29, 2009
Our defenders are doing a good job with Adebayor. They are not even giving him space to breathe.

Lovely play from United, but way too many missed chances. Not all have been the fault of our strikers though, Almunia has had a pretty good game. Been quite the ball magnet.

We don't need to change anything right now, everybody's looking good and I'm particularly impressed with our defense, Evra especially. Oh, and Vida. I mean, so far no shirt pulling? Wonderful. grin

Arsenal will come back blazing though, so we have to quit this dilly-dallying around Almunia and pop more goals in.

@TKB
Don't get cocky, there's still plenty of time for a lot to happen. grin The score line so doesn't reflect our play. . .that's not a good thing. We should be more goals up.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by nazzyon(m): 8:40pm On Apr 29, 2009
Good game so far.

I don't like 1 goal in a match like this though.

We had 9 shots at the goal and 2 corners and still could not utilize those. I'm actually worried about the fact that we could not capitalize on those chances.
They should just leave Berbatov for me on that bench. . . that's all I ask of SAF. At least for next couple of minutes.  cheesy cheesy cheesy
Tottenham learnt that the hard way last weekend. I just really hope that Arsenal does not score even though an away goal might not exactly help either team cos we can always score at Emirates. An away goal is not too crucial but it would help if we keep a clean sheet at home.

LOL grin Right now, nobody's missing Berbatov.

I just hope Tev breaks Almunia soon.

LOL, we can't miss him with his lazy ball passes. cheesy cheesy
I just want us to press as much as we did last time and play our heads off. Arsenal is getting to comfy with the ball now.

LOL! Maybe he can take it further by scoring a goal for us. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy It would be very very nice.
