Another tragic fire incident occurred in Anambra in the early hours of Friday October 18, as three female workers who were sleeping in a beer parlour were burnt to death.

The cause of the fire incident at the beer parlour named 'Padded Joint' at Ezekwuabo Otolo Nnewi, close to St. Thomas Anglican Church (Akwudo) is now yet known, but it was learnt that it began by 3:00am.

The police commissioner in the state, John Abang who confirmed the incident said the owner of the drinking joint has been arrested and she has made useful statement.

The EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office on Friday October 18, 2019 arrested nine suspected cyber crime fraudsters at Mexmemphis Properties and Apartments, Maryland District, Enugu.

The suspects, Precious Ibegbulem, Michael Odishi,Ebuka Kenneth, Akabuke Beluolisa, Chibueze Ezeagwu, Nnamdi Maduekwe, Kingsley Orazulike, Linda Chidera and Uche Nwosu were arrested following an intelligence report about their lifestyle and suspected criminal activities.

On the strength of the information, the EFCC raided the home of the suspects and arrested them.

The Officer identified as Commander Oluwayemisi Ogundana with service number NN/ 2367, was found dead in a well in a village close to the Jaji military cantonment, Kaduna State after she was declared missing last Friday.

It was learnt that the corpse of the murdered Naval officer was dismembered and put in a big sack before being dumped in the shallow well.

She is, however, suspected to have been murdered by some known persons, two suspects, including a teacher at the Command Secondary School, Jaji and one other have already been arrested in connection to her murder,

“The door to the officer’s room was forced open because the phone was ringing inside the sitting room and efforts to reach her other numbers, failed”. “Blood stains were observed on her beddings and clothes as well as on the floor from the bedroom to the bathroom. Her vehicle, a Toyota SUV was also missing.”

The notorious serial killer, Gracious David West was arrested by the police in Rivers.

The 26-year old killer from Buguma LGA of Rivers State, who is also a member of the Degbam cult group was arrested along East-West Road enroute to Uyo from Port Harcourt. He has since made useful statements to the Police.

Investigation is on with a view to ascertaining his motives and possible accomplices. The Commissioner of Police Rivers State, CP Mustapha Dandaura will be briefing the media on this significant Police breakthrough tomorrow, September 20, 2019.

A video which captured the heated argument between a social media user and a Nigerian prostitute has gone viral on social media.

Though where and when the video was released was not made available, however the commercial sex worker was heard saying "balance you what" as the man told her to give back some of the money he paid her over the attitude she put up after they arrived his apartment.

The unidentified lady however stood her ground, stating that the man should have told her the sex styles he wanted before taking her home. She told him to "add money" if he wants d*ggy and also rebuked him over the way he spoke to her. He ended up sending her out of his apartment.
