Why wouldn't it?

I really don't understand the mentality behind wearing headphones and earpieces by the road side. Majority of Nigerian youths are guilty of this act.

I think its just reta.rded that they would do so by the road side. Are they expressing freedom by that or whose life is in jeopardy? Just the other day I was driving home and this dude was walking by the roadside with this big earphone on and had already started drifting to the road. It took just providence for me to spot him else I would have cleared him off. He was right on the road. And to make matters worse he couldnt even hear my horn until I nudged him gently with my bumper and then he went ballistic like "Wetin dey do you? You dey kraze ni abi you dey blind?"

Imagine that! and he was in the middle of the road. More youths will start dying on top this earpiece thing if them no take time. Which one now. This children sef. As if say na only them be youth. Me sef I be youth and I no get this kain skoin skoin.

I just cant understand it.
You still don't understand anything about our society.

Op get your story straight..... The news applies to the hostel and not the entire Uniben. Like somebody rightly said, if such a message was from the school authority, it would have been typed with a heading.

Uniben of all schools,it will be difficult for them to implement but it's for their own good.use earphones only at home not when walking.

... But with their earphones on.... It's still wasn't smart of them.
I guess the very wide road suddenly became too narrow for the driver that he had to uproot two innocent girls by the road side.
Don't blame the victims, blame the driver....
Because from what I heard, the two friends were walking and talking to each other...
We all have done that before....we still do it.

This is a silly decision. No need to 'nursemaid' students.

I thought a university would know better.

Banning headsets because of accident is like banning cars because of accident. What a moronic policy!

bro leave mata 4 matais, take it or lv it. It does, an ear specialist once told me 2 desist from that sometime ago. Too much usage isn't good for ur ears bro

of course, too much noise in the Ear can damage our Cholclea and Anvil, even Ear drom weaken, but not Bacteria
