@OP, it's not a general Blackberry problem. It only occurs in those with dual OS (Blackberry-Android) like Q10, Z10, Z30 and d likes.
I send my mails with my Bold5 and it goes straight to the recipient's inbox. Just tried it now with my other email address and it went peacefully.

I only suggested a cyber cafe on the ground that he maybe do not have a laptop or desktop.

My point is; important documents (mails) like a job application,cv etc should be followed with seriousness hence you should go the trouble of sending them with a pc and not a mere phone where you stand the risk of not getting your mail delivered or in the proper form in which you actually sent it.

You can use your phones for informal mails but when it gets formal,you've got to approach it with all seriousness and keep checking if your mails were actually sent and in the right format.

I dunno if you get my drill,many of y'all are too comfortable being lazy and taking things for granted and you want a job abi?
you gotta go out of your comfort zone,make sacrifices and exert extra effort.

Several people sent me mails to help then check if the mail ended in my spam or inbox. Unfortunately, I may not be able to reply all.

For all whose mail ended in my spam, I ensured I replied. If I didn't reply, that implies your mail got to my inbox.

Ever since my university days, I had always been a fan of blackberry. What I recently found out about my beloved blackberry surprised me and has since left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I have recently applied for a host of jobs, getting invited for tests in some and never getting an invite in some. In my quest to know why I haven't been invited to write some tests, I started seeing a pattern.

Anytime I apply to jobs using recruitment portals such as taleo, I always get shortlisted. Anytime I apply for a job by sending my CV to a mail address, I never get an invite for a test.

I decided to do a little experiment. I opened a yahoo mail account and sent a mail from my BlackBerry HUB to the yahoo mail and it ended up in spam. I tried the same using mail addresses of people I had never exchanged mails with and all the mails ended up in their spam folder.

The problem I later got to find out is a bug that comes with BB10 devices. Using the blackberry HUB to send mails will most likely end your mail in the junk folder.

I decided to open this thread to enlighten other job seekers who unknowingly have been victims of their own phone.

Attached are screenshots of people's experiences I got off the web.

Next step in your test, try a non-BB phone and see if it's delivered

Op, please check ur device setting cos mine is intact.

Sorry OP, it's not a general issue with bb10 devices. I use Q10 and my e-mails deliver very well and I get replies.

Maybe some of these BlackBerry 10 devices have been tampered with or something but my own Z10 works perfectly and delivers emails into inbox not spam folders.

@olu maybe you have not upgraded ur OS. If u have a dual OS blackberry and android you will likely have same c challenges.

My phone runs OS 10.3.2. That's the latest OS. It was released about 2 weeks ago.

I never found this matter when I used Blackberry before.
One thing that made me left Blackberry is the process time is too long, and for me it is very annoying
That is why I decided to use Samsung instead of Blackberry

i use my z10 to send official e-mails etc.... and i have never experience such.

Please avoid spreading such wrong info about a multi-global company.
