Let him not focus on infrastructure alone, there are other areas that need attention like economic development, aattracting foreign investors, empowerment of entrepreneurs etc 1 Like |

Governor Ikpeazu Sympathizes with Aba Commuters over Traffic Logjam The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has expressed his sympathy to the people of Aba and the environs over the hectic traffic jam being experienced by motorists and other road users on the Aba Owerri road and other areas where work is in progress, saying that it is due to the road rehabilitation work currently being executed by government on those roads. The Governor therefore appealed to the people of Aba and commuters to endure the temporary inconveniences as the rehabilitation work will be completed within seven days. He stated that as a resident of Aba, he personally goes through the traffic hurdles everyday and do appreciate the suffering of the people, adding that the sacrifice has to be made once and for all for the general good of all. The Governor thanked the Aba people for the understanding and cooperation they have shown in the face of the massive infrastructural renewal exercise going on in the city, stressing that the progress so far made would not have been possible without their solidarity. He a used the occasion to re-assure the people that the Aba project is dear to his heart and that all his campaign promises would be fulfilled to the letter. Signed Godwin Adindu Chief Press Secretary to the Governor — |

SERIOUSLY SPEAKING THIS WOULDN'T HOLD. the drainage are way too small in size to be of any significance what this guy is simply doing doing is 'peppering the cracks'. This is the same tactics the PDP tried to use in EDO state when Oshiomole took them to court. The people should be wiser than this. P.S I know next to Jack shit about Abia politics and don't care. Am just a concerned Nigerian |
