Parents should be able to teach their wards sex education. Some parents have little or no time for their wards... So sad...

A similar case I had to address with wisdom was a 15 year old girl claiming that she was in love with me and threatened to kill herself if I rejected her and she only saw me once.
She was calling me about 30-50 times a day with messages of love texts and her ring tones were the latest hip songs from KCee to Harrysong to Davido to Whizkid and others. I reported to the police, Red Cross, Critical Rescue and others, but none of them responded to rescue her. She was just an impressionable and vulnerable school girl whose parents have failed in good parenting. And they were comfortable from my investigations. Sometimes she even sent me recharge cards to call her back. For two years I had to use my counseling skills to get her out of her depression and succeeded. Very brilliant girl and champion athlete and beautiful. Thank God she did not run to the wrong boy or man who would taken advantage of her and ruin her life. Today she is already preparing for her UME and still professing her love. It is just obsession caused by depression.
I blame all these psychedelic Nigerian hip hop songs and pornographic music videos.
I once told a DJ to stop playing such dirty songs at the birthday party of a primary school boy and his sister in SSS 3 stopped talking to me for not joining their party and the parents supported her and the DJ and they are members of the same church with me, the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Most people here are blaming the girl but have refused to acknowledge that simple fact that people's growth and development varies. The environment were you find yourself and also how you were being nurtured, would have significant effect on your personality. Whether you accept it or not, teenage age is very vulnerable. It takes more than parental care for a teenager to be curtailed. It is practically impossible for the parents to be there at all times. In fact a greater percentage of a teen's daily activities are spent outside the his/her home. Some may argue that whatever these kids learn at home is how they would behave out there. Wrong! Remember the effects of peer pressure, exposure to conventional and social media, absence of mentors and even the urge to explore life. Also, this is the stage when hormones play great tricks.

Even as people continue to bury their heads in sand and pretend not to be aware of the vast power of the feeling the girl must have experienced, actually, there is no word to describe teenage indulgence, it is nothing like what adults do. Some ignorantly call it obsession. So, the question of, "what does she know about love?" is insensitive. Because you never experienced it does not mean that it is something to brush aside. If we should start the blame game, nobody would be spared; the parents, teachers, religious leaders, older siblings, other family members, neighbors, and the society at large.

However, the point remains that the growth of teenagers is delicate and some would make mistake of grievous consequence. In an interview some months ago, Obama was asked if his teenage kids have boyfriends and he replied, "that is a classified information." So your guess is as good as mine regarding his answer.
