Bros u Neva buy beta belt n u won flex ur moto...my belt for my Toyota carina 3s timing belt cut n I procured Dat belt for 5k dem no remove 1 naira...... N until now I still DE flx am... Folo DE man to wer he buys the belt n get DE best quality...... DE mechanic too na fooln to DE buy fake belt for Honda 2009 now wer ie Don horror u na now u go Sabi say DE belt get original. |

romityl: 3S-FE is same belt with 5S-FE. OEM for toyota in lagos cost an average of 12-15k yours is most likely not original. 1 Like |

either of the following is the cause 1. fake belt 2.wrong tensioning 3. faulty pulleys...especially the idler pulleys |

there's what they called self adjusting device if this device is bad the mechanics usually adjust the belt tension manually,so if the tension is high the belt will definitely cut in no longer time, my advice is for you to get an experienced mechanic |

inspect the Pulleys and retention is fine as in springing back |

i guess this issue is resolved, at least for now. the culprit is actually the belt ADJUSTER! i changed mechanic as suggested and he recommended the adjuster be changed. since then no issues again. Thanks all for ur input and time. i appreciate greatly. |
