If not well trained, it will cause excess jumping especially when excited Which you might later find annoying

And can a dog get the training under one day? I'm not sure I did it right because after leaving the dog for a few minutes and went back he didn't respond to my command. Also I need help on potty training. I want him to be passing out waste on a fielded area rather than cemented part of my home

Quite easy. There are different ways to go about this.
With food which Is the most common way. Place a piece of chicken in the cage, as he's going in to get the Chicken use your preferable command. Do this regularly, with time he'd get the point.

Just got my first dog I call her Eragon.

Pls how can I train her to pass faeces and urine outside her cage.
She's 3months old

Get a Purebreed Dog.
And also a dog you can manage.
A dog that can fit into your daily basis.

If I may ask what's your reason for getting a dog?

I don't know your reason but for a start I recommend A GSD or An Eskimo.
Easily controlled and Trainability.
