Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump wants to deny citizenship to the babies of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally as part of an immigration plan that emphasizes border security and deportation for millions.

Not too good for Nigerians in particular.

What do you think? Because i know certainly quite a number of Nigerians travel to the US and reside there illegally for citizenship purposes.

That's just a proposal from a presidential candidate, we don't know if they will implement it or not. E no consign me tho

It will be vey tough to implement that policy because "citizen by birth" is an essential part of America. It is even the law that no one can be president of America if they were born in America. However, there seems to be a growing number of Americans who don't like the fact that many people all over the world just run to America whenever they are pregnant only so that they can grant their child American citizenship
