Nigerian immigration staff at the Airport checking are criminals, I remember seeing a full adult dude for so bullied about parting with some money that he cried when he heard his flight announced for check-in, the look on their faces when another guy arrived and they were about to start with their bullying before the guy brought out his EU passport and with a frown on his face, lol, that is how case was immediately dismissed. 1 Like |

Please help a first time traveller, I am pregnant and I want to travel from Abuja to Lagos and I will be going with my 3 years old daughter Please I need help on how to get my ticket booking, and how to located the local wing of the airport and what to expect while I fly Thank you |
Re: Mistakes Made By First Timers Travelling By Air by deegnity22: 11:45am On Jun 07, 2019 |
winniecool68: *You can either do your booking online or go to the office of the airline you want to travel with to do your booking. *As for what to expect, try to get to the airport at least an hour before check-in time. *Confirm the maximum weight of luggage you can carry from your airline, it is usually stated on their site and your ticket. *Go with a printed copy of your ticket if you are booking online, look for your airline and go through the check in process. *Make sure you do not carry things like perfume, body spray, mug or anything that could harm people in your hand luggage, they usually seize it. But you can put them in your normal luggage. *Once you check in, be attentive for the call to board your plane. *Once on the plane, find your seat and ask for help with the seat belt if you can't fix it. Finally, enjoy your ride and have a safe trip. 4 Likes 1 Share |

deegnity22: *... Be attentive for the call to board your plane. Please, what exactly will be announced, is it the name of the airline, and where its heading to, as is being done in some bus parks? |
Re: Mistakes Made By First Timers Travelling By Air by deegnity22: 1:41pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
Yampotatocarrot: Most times they'll say 'this is the call for flight so and so' , the name of the airline and where it's headed. Once you are in the boarding area, you shouldn't have a problem cos you will see other people that will be on the same flight as you, just make sure you confirm and ask questions. Try as much as possible to check in on time. |

deegnity22: Oooo, thanks. I really appreciate this. For the immigration guys, is it possible to actually pass without having to shake down? If yes, I need the best approach, please |

Yampotatocarrot: Don't act vulnerable, if they smell jjc on you, you could part with money you don't want to spend before you know it. Try to get there early too, once they see you are rushing, they usually want to take advantage of that. For me, I didn't pay a penny to them. |

Good day guys, please is there a way to hide palm oil from being detected. Can I take bar soaps in my hand luggage? Secondly is it compulsory to declare all the amount u are holding, can't someone just lie? For international flight |
Re: Mistakes Made By First Timers Travelling By Air by Ashirioluwa: 3:41pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
Preye21:Palm oil is allowed. But why my Naija people want to carry everything each time they are traveling? You must declare it if you are traveling with more than $10000. 1 Like |
